The Giver

Synopsis

Every person in the world has been chosen to have a specific role in the perfect world. Teenager Jonas (Brenton Thwaites) has been chosen to be the receiver of memories and he goes into training with a man called The Giver (Jeff Bridges).

Soon after, with the help of The Giver, Jonas uncovers the truths of the "real" world, how many years earlier people gave up humanity in order to maintain a stable society.

Based on the book by Lois Lowry.
