Synopsis

The well-structured life of middle-aged philosophy teacher Nathalie (Isabelle Huppert) is thrown into chaos after her husband leaves her for another woman, and she is left to deal with her extremely possessive mother.

However, she finds an unlikely new companion that helps her move past her struggles — a former student of hers and radical communist named Fabien (Roman Kolinka).
