Synopsis

Cole (Zac Efron), a 23-year-old aspiring DJ, is struggling to break into the Hollywood electronic music scene. Dreaming of becoming a major record producer, he spends his nights working on a track that will introduce him to the world.

Everything changes when an older DJ named James (Wes Bentley) begins to mentor him. Cole makes an unexpected connection with James's girlfriend (Emily Ratajkowski), sending his world into chaos. Now Cole is forced to make tough decisions about love, loyalty, and his future.
