Angelina Jolie has finally opened up about Brad Pitt and their family.
The actress and director, 41, was on Good Morning America on Tuesday (Feb. 21), promoting the historical drama First They Killed My Father, which she directed. Filmed in Cambodia, the movie will screen on Netflix.
When asked by George Stephanopoulos if her family is healthier now, Angelina took a deep breath and pondered her response before replying, "We are focusing on the health of our family. And so we will be. We will be stronger when we come out of this because that's what we're determined to do as a family."
Stephanopoulos then stated that in the past Angelina has described Brad as a wonderful father and a part of the family and asked Angelina if she still believes that. She responded, "Of course. Of course. We will always be a family. Always."
In September last year, Angelina filed divorce papers and is seeking physical custody of their children – Maddox, 13; Pax, 11; Zahara, nine; Shiloh, eight; and twins Knox and Vivienne, six. ~Marriska Fernandes
