Would have been great if they cut out all the soapy bullshit - would have made a nice 1 1/2 hour movies vs. 2:40 please kill me now experience. I thought I was watching a Brazilian soap opera at times. Is anybody actually into those humanitarian motives+speeches?

lots of great special effects, some touching emotional scenes, and some edge of your seat nail-biting escapes. It followed several different characters who were either accepting their fate, predicting the happenings, or narrowly escaping death and disaster. I'd say an all around great movie with no memorable poor scenes. easily 5 stars and a great finale for roland emmerich's disaster movie career.

excellent movie and although it does have many humorous cheesy parts, the special effects more than makes up for it :)

Woody Harrelson was his usualy zany self...very entertaining. A few cheezy bits but the time flew by and I was totally entertained from start to finish. Worth my $9.00 for sure.

This movie is very boring , and a terrible watse of money. wait for the movie. Theres no way im buying it! Almost fell asleep !!

what garbage ! Like cmon !I cant believe a director would waste his time even thinking of something like this. If your a teenager or have a teenager , dont bother watching it unless u want them to fall asleep in the theatre.
