It was exactly like the commercials. No surprises and it was very unique. You should be an Alice in Wonderland fan though.

If your going to watch this movie it on IMAX - giant sized and on top of it all. This movie is 80% visual and 20% the acting of Helena Bonham Carter and Mia Wasikowska. The plot is mediocre at best, the dialogue is mediocre at best, and frankly Johnny Depp is just Johnny Depp.

Awesome...especially in IMAX 3D! Depp was, as expected, GREAT as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska was an enchanted, if bewildered, Alice. This movie is destined to become a "classic".

One word...aweful. It's likely that you won't believe me and you will in fact go see it, which is understandable. But during the movie you will wonder if the theater you are sitting in has been renovated, and when you leave, you will say...haha, that guy online was right.
