The movie was a perfectly artistic, yet meandering and disconnected toilet bowl of shit. The acting, makeup screen shots were nothing short of incredible in themselves. Yet this movie reminds me of the English Patient...it will appeal to the artsy crowd who want to discuss it and appear more intellectual than they actually are. And of course that includes all the critics that (like the English Patient) will successfully predict a boat load of Oscars...something that people like Elaine from Seinfeld and I just cannot wrap our heads around.

I went to see Cloud Atlas and found the movie very confusing and all over the place.. jumping from time to another with a thin link to each other... With all the hype for the movie I expected more .. It has a very thin story line..other than special effects I would wait to see it on video...

Profound and thought-provoking...complex but still able to piece the storylines together...a masterpiece of cinematography. Excellent acting throughout. Go see it!
