Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

This movie might be exciting for 12-14 year olds as they like anything that goes boom and makes lots of noise. To adults I say "Run and Hide" this movie will bore you to distraction.

This movie sucks!!! You can put a turkey on a pedastil but it doesn't make it an Eagle. Do yourself a favour and play bingo, it's more exciting with more interesting characters.

Excellent film! It's far beyond that of a mere movie! I felt as if I were watching 'The New Hope' again in 1977 for the first time. I tell many non-Star War people who've never understood us, it's the best film to see and be hooked for life. It's a trainer for those who want to become one with the Force. I cheered aloud. The heck with new audiences who don’t. Absolutely dazzlingly.

What a great movie. I really enjoyed it. They went back to the roots of the first Star Wars in this film. Great story line and great cast. Good entertainment.

This movie was absolutely amazing. I do not understand where the hate is coming from. No it is not going to be just like the old Star Wars movies. Being a diehard Star Wars fan, I loved this! There was a very clear plot, some people just clearly do not have the intelligence to understand it.

If you're waiting for your significant other to finish shopping because you hate shopping. Then see this movie, it's slightly better then screaming kids and hours of shopping

If you're expecting anything similar to Star Wars you will be extremely disappointed. A cast from no where trying to find their way no where.

It was okay. Does every Star Wars movie have to be about a child separated from their parents? Disney + Star Wars = disappointment.

Very weak movie. First half was totally boring. Wooden acting. The galactic battle scenes were way too long and looked as though they were borrowed from previous SW movies. Last 15 mins were good, but I suffered 1.5 hrs to get there.

To all the negative reviews - what did you expect. If you don't like the franchise don't go but don't insult others who liked it! The movie is darker, better and more entertaining than the rest of the saga.

Was there a plot to this? Not really. Watch the first part of Star Wars A New Hope or whatever it is they call the original, real Star Wars and you get the plot. It's summed up in one sentence. The rest is just a bunch of actors running around and noise. This one is for idiots with a short attention span.

Good movie. Too much people bashing this movie for silly reasons we all the fans know. lol Love the story style of the movie. Great representation of one of the officers who died in 1994. Do you know the actor never like to wear boots and this why you never saw his feet in the original movie? Darth Vader again was brought back with some of his evil power. The battle action in the space brought back good action scenes from the Returning of the Jedi.

This one is Groundhog Day over again.... Story line stinks the actors are betrayed by the Hollywood Mongols i.e. a quick fast buck con job to butter up their bank accounts at the views expense! The Public works hard for their money at least they could respect our intelligence without that perpetual mental diarrhea call Movie Making

Act 1: 25 min - Decent set up. Main characters given task to resolve. Act 2: (35-55 min) - Saggy middle. This section was aimless. The characters felt pushed around with little to do. The audience probably fell asleep during these section. No rising action. No tension. No excitement. Act 3: (60-120 min) - Climax/Resolution. Action packed. Lose ends tied up. Main characters resolves issue. Overall, the story contained an interesting premise, yet failed to maintain a sense of excitement through out the picture. The film does provide connecting elements with episode 4, which was fascinating to experience, but the 2nd act really needed a supercharge load of excitement and purpose to keep audiences engaged.

I gave this movie a 5 because of the plot and how it slowly develops into this immense, suspenseful moment with a satisfying ending. It ties all the others in the trilogy together, finally!!! I loved the humor of the robot and his sarcastic humor!

Awesome movie some what emotional

I was looking forward to this but was disappointed. Just tons of gun play, which put me to sleep. There was barely any plot at all.

The story failed to draw me in. I kept thinking about other stuff. I did not care about the characters or their adventure(s). Overall, I'm disappointed.

This film goes from a boring, lack-luster and pretty much awful into something poweful, genuinly moving and the perfect fill in to "Episode IV: A New Hope" Hated the first half...loved the second! The final scenes and minutes were PHENOMINAL...down to the very last frame!

Kind of boring. I enjoyed the last Star Wars movie, didn't really liked this one. I think this was the first time in my life I left the theatre to go to the washroom, and I really didn't care I was missing some of the movie

Really Fun, full of action and imagination. This motion picture tells the story of how the Death Star was built and how the rebel forces gain a weakness on that imperial force weapon. Highly recommended, bring your family to watch this flick where the characters deal with themes such as of Hope, Redemption and Courage.

No real plot, no point. What was the need for this ?

What a disaster. Boring

It was ok. Action sequences were good, as was the ending. Beginning was very slow, and liked to jump around a lot. Some situations were very formulaic, and scenes of great action and fun were interspersed with scenes that were supposed to make you feel for the characters but falls short.

Nothing great, just ok. If you go during the day watch out for the constant kicking of your seat and talking of ...5 and 6 year old kids. Ugh!

Absolutely amazing. Filled in the Star Wars timeline and answered a lot of unanswered questions. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves the Star Wars franchise, or to just anyone who likes to go see a great movie!

Boring. These knock off Star Wars pictures do not compete with the originals. The first hour was a sleeper, in fact a man behind me fell asleep. It was confusing, disjointed, very bad \i could have walked out anytime, that's how bad it was. Cash grabs.

Disappointed! I was expecting more!

Had HC won the EC votes to be the president-elect, this film would've seamlessly settled into the fabric of American History. Rightfully, the story calls attention to our age of political/military/economic-blocs--with Brazil and Russia ostracized from Lucas's BRIC and India and China caving...I guess. Nevertheless, hearing (and seeing) an aged Darth Vader brought charisma to the screen...worth every second...maybe this Star Wars got "choked on its own ambitions." DV

I loved this movie, it's right up there with Empire Strikes Back. Much better than The Force Awakens for sure. Sorry J J!!

Love most of the Star Wars movies. Liked the way this movie filled in another piece of the overall story line. Not the greatest one of the movies but certainly not the worst, was worth going to see.
