Raunchy, hilarious and a few OMG moments. Great fun but can be a little crude but still a fun and laugh filled movie.

This movie was full of humor albeit very crude at times. It was a fun movie to watch and the entire audience was laughing. The plot was a bit predictable and at the same time the content was unpredictable. The cast work well together and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, hilarious movie.

Go see this just for Bryan Cranston--he is hilarious. James Franco is wasted here but does have some funny moments.

I rate Why Him 4 stars. It is very entertainment Fun movie. Him is so smart and hansom however I do not like he keep speak those foal Languages. Which that is why our society people speck and act so rude irrespectively. People ignoring other feeling. But is that this generation continuingly like him. I don't really enjoy life like that.

This was a good heart warming adult comedy. Not for the whole family, but a good time over all.

There's a lot of bad words used and a certain amount of potty humour but this was super funny and in places had a cuteness about it. A fun cast, some crazy gags, and a moose in urine. What more does one need for entertainment?

The movie was hilarious - perhaps some profanities were overused - but it is expected of movies w/James Franco. Franco and Cranston are a suitable team who is more than capable of carrying this silly film. Rating should be R and it is best to be watched w/good company, glass (or two) of wino inside VIP theater. :-)

I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this film, but it pretty much had me laughing from beginning to end, which was a nice surprise. The packed audience at my screening all seemed to be really enjoying it, despite the tendency toward toilet humour (both literal and figurative). I'd recommend it for a few genuine laughs.

Started out funny, dipped in the middle, and while predictable at the end there was a nice cameo surprise.

This is one of the funniest movie I've seen in years!!

Not a fan of the swearing but I have to admit I was laughing so much I had tears in my eyes. Middle Aged moms that took their 18 yr old daughters they said it was ok. Didn't find it as funny as we did.

What a stupid movie. I think James Franco may have the record for the most f words used in the first twenty minutes of a movie. Couldn't wait to get out of the theater.

Scotty Fleming is hilarious. The whole movie made me laugh and all the characters are unique and hilarious.

Great movie, my husband and I saw this movie New Year's Eve and it was better than expected. Although a little raunchy, it made us laugh out loud several times and actually has a few good messages in it....

When Bryan Cranston doesn't have toilet paper and calls to his wife from the bathroom, she asks him - "Did Papa do a poopy?" And he answers "Yes, Daddy did a doo doo". Sadly, these are not the only lines that made this movie a "stinker". Don't waste your money unless you enjoy tasteless humor.

my knees were shaking when i first heard the voice of the beautiful james franco

I am not of the school of thought where people think it's cool that every other word in the movie is raunchy and foul and raw. Well, folks, it just ain't cool and this was a perfect example of total bad taste in a perfectly silly and juvenile film. Don't waste your money!

Wow so pleasantly surprised! The trailer seemed okay but the movie was awesome! As a lover of comedies, and with a lack of good movies out lately this was great! Will definitely be watching again.

A far better entertainment value than most of the big budget action movies that came out this past year. A few good laughs and feel-good resolution... It was worth the price of admission.

Life is never "fair" in real life...but this movie helps to see how "life" can be "A Blast" when you don't try so hard!! just be whoever you are! ;) <3

Though there were most certainly moments of hilarity and the cast was assembled very well and thus worked together in harmony to execute their roles - it can't be just me feeling that somehow the movie fell short of having that completely captivating factor seeing as the theatre audience fell silent for most of the film except for the really, really humorous parts. And I thought I was laughing more than anyone as there are some truly good quick remarks made by James Franco's Laird character. All in all, an easy watch but can't say it's worth full price at the movies.

I go into a movie with low expectations and just want good entertainment for a couple of hours. This movie provided it and there are some genuine laughs! It is a good comedy with a lot of swearing but everything is not too gratuitous. I enjoyed it!

This movie was hilarious. I haven't laugh at a movie in quite a while. This is a must see movie.
