Synopsis

A look at the public and private sides of larger-than-life pop culture icon, Grace Jones. On stage, she wears masks and spectacular outfits. But behind the pageantry, the extravagant presence on stage and the warm voice, who is Grace Jones? Singer, model, actress, New Wave icon, described by many as a "glamazon," this extraordinary artist is revealed in this documentary shot over a period of several years.

From her return to her native Jamaica, where part of her family still lives, to her studio work for the production of her next album, to a visit to Paris where she meets up with frequent collaborator, director/photographer/artist Jean-Paul Goude, who is the father of her son Paolo, we get an inside look at her personae onstage and off.
