Synopsis
Since retiring from his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) finds peace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Now living in Southern Italy, he finds comfort in the quiet and simple life of the small town, from a daily routine to a new romantic companion.
All calmness goes awry when he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. Being accepted as part of the town, McCall aims to defend his friends and their families from the mafia. When events turn deadly, he runs towards the danger, using his government assassin training to protect them.
