    We gather family from all over Ontario and meet at a relatives house on Christmas Day. Where we have it changes every year. Each person takes a turn hosting. We all bring a food or drink item. When we eat, we wear those crown hats at the dinner table. When dinner is over we all watch Christmas movies and have some laughs.

    Christmas is spent between both of our families so it usually lasts at least a week by the time we finish celebrating with everyone. Gift exchanges, great food, drinks, laughs and great company. Plus watching my almost 2 year old light up at the mention of Santa Claus and his reindeer just makes it that much more special.

    Christmas Eve we go to my parents for Chinese food. Then we play the White Elephant Exchange game. Christmas Day morning is with the in-laws opening gifts and depending on what's happening in the evening we either stay at my in-laws or go to my brother's.

    We celebrate as a small family, sometimes we would travel to Nova Scotia from Ontario, but this year we are in Alberta. I go to Church on Christmas eve with my son, my husband stays home to do up some snacks foods for when we return from church. We watch a few movies and open our 1 gift xmas eve. Then Christmas Day, it is usually me waiting patiently waiting for 7am to get everyone up to open gifts. We sometimes take a break to have breakfast and then continue opening gifts. The kids go off to play and Dad and I start the Turkey. Its awesome and I am lucky to have such a great family. This year my husband is deployed and we are very lucky and fortunate that he will be able to get home for Christmas for 2 weeks before returning to duty. Merry Christmas everyone. :)

    Being a dog sitter it is one of my busiest time's of year , but I don't mind they are my family , I have no family and am generally alone over the Holidays , so the pooches are my love and joy this time of year ! ......Woohooo could really use a new set of frames mine are on there last legs , the little screw keeps falling and hard to put back in when you can't see to do it ! lol.     Daniel Schneider MY Mother and I go over to my aunt's house every year for Christmas and start off by talking about what's going on in.our lives and then we open presents 1 person at a time taking video and pictures as were doing it. Then we eat dinner and pull crackers with eachother and we each wear the crowns from the crackers. We then look and talk about the prizes we got from the crackers. After that we say Grace and then dig in! After we eat we sit down for awhile and digest listening to Christmas music and checking out our gifts and talking. Then it's time for dessert. No matter how full everybody is we always have room for dessert. After dessert we clean up then sit down and have some Irish Coffees and play games. Then we watch tv. Christmas really is the most Wonderful time of the year! It brings Family, Friends, God and Magic together.

    We now celebrate Christmas at my daughter's house as my small apartment can't accommodate all our family. I get over there after the craziness of gift opening and help with the meal, always do the potatoes and make the gravy. Boxing Day is spent there as well, as it is also my youngest grandson's birthday! We always make sure it remains his special day, with cake and MORE presents for him.

    I celebrate Christmas with my parents and sister by staying up late Christmas eve playing cards or a board game. We all sleep in on Christmas day (no early to bed early to rise). We open stocking first while have coffee then presents. After that it is a good home made breakfast to hold everyone until a late afternoon turkey dinner. Back playing cards or board games in the evening with a snack of turkey leftovers. We are a competitive family who love their turkey.

    My wife and I celebrate Christmas Day with my family and boxing day with hers. We always have a ton of great food, drink and most importantly, great company!

    Spend Christmas Eve with my lifelong friend. Always go to my daughter's house on Christmas Day as my small apartment can't hold her big family. Always spend Boxing Day at my daughter's as well, as this is my youngest Grandson's birthday. We always make sure this remains his special day with cake and of course more presents.

    We have a fancy meal with the whole family on Christmas Eve and the open presents in front of the tree. Christmas morning is a fancy breakfasts & then we check to see if Santa filled our stockings.

    Getting harder to pin down a date with my sons working shift work and retail over the holidays. Often we celebrate well in advance or far later. We have what you call a 'fluid' Christmas; one that doesn't need to be celebrated on December 25th. We make it Christmas when all our family is gathered together.

    We celebrate Christmas Eve with my Father-in-law and then on Christmas morning he joins us as we open our stockings and presents under the tree and then we have a big family dinner with my mom and brothers and our 14 kids (ages 2-10). It's a really magical time!

    I work every Christmas but I work in a Nursing Home so I get to spend it with the elderly residents (most of whom do not have any family) I love every minute with them, I even dress up as an elf and bring treats.

    Dinner is at my place, I'm the mom, on Christmas Eve, then we open one stocking gift each, our presents get opened at midnight. We switch it up every year, we decide who goes first either in alphabetical order, oldest to youngest or vice versa, or we pick names out of a hat. On Christmas morning we have a nice breakfast and open the rest of our stocking gifts! Thanks and Merry Christmas to All!

    The kids wake up early to see what is under the tree on Christmas. We grab our cameras and coffee and enjoy watching them open presents. While the kids play we clean up and prepare a nice lunch and later dinner for the four of us.

    Every year we spend Christmas Eve with my dad's side of the family and Christmas with my mom's side. It's been that way my whole life and it's so nice that we are able to have that one day a year where we are all together despite everyone's busy lives.

    We start by going to my parents house to open gifts with the whole family. Home to let the dogs out quickly and drop off our gifts we got. Then back to my parents for an early dinner (NO SECONDS!!). Right after that dinner we go home again to pick up the dogs, then off to my in-laws for another gift exchange and another dinner. We spend the evening there then home for a well deserved sleep.
