Game of Thrones season 7 trailer teases "the great war" Published By Tribute on May 24, 2017

Enemies to the east, enemies to the west, enemies to the south, enemies to the north.

Our first look at season 7 of the hit series Game of Thrones is finally here. HBO has released the official trailer, and boy is it a big one! If the long wait between seasons 6 and 7 was leaving you impatient, this action-packed trailer is only going to make you crave the return to Westeros even more.

The trailer teases a "great war" that is ready to take over the Seven Kingdoms. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is in pursuit of the Iron Throne, while her nephew, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), is back from the dead, and preparing for his new role as King of the North.

The highly-anticipated series will release seven new episodes throughout the season, with all of the cast members set to return. There will also be a special appearance by singer Ed Sheeran, who will have a brief cameo in one of the episodes. Actor Jim Broadbent, the newest member of the cast, will have a recurring role on the show.

With the show on its last legs (there are only two seasons left), there has been speculation about where the story will go next. The author behind the series, George R.R. Martin, has confirmed that several spin-offs are currently in development, but no other information has been shared.
