IHeartRADIO Much Music Video Awards 2017 Toronto red carpet Published By Marriska Fernandes on Jun 19, 2017

Last night, the IHeartRADIO Much Music Video Awards 2017 took place in Toronto and we were on the pink carpet! Despite the rain, the fans flocked Queen Street to watch rap queen Iggy Azalea, New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde, rock band Imagine Dragons and several other artists perform their hit singles.

The performances were electrifying and had the entire crowd singing along. Performers included DNCE, fronted by host (and MMVA veteran) Joe Jonas, Iggy Azalea who rocked the crowd with a version of "Switch," Julia Michaels, who performed her single "Issues," and Post Malone, who sang "White Iverson" and "Congratulations." The final artist to close the show was Lorde, who danced up a storm as she sang her hit single "Green Light" and "Perfect Places."

We chatted with several artists on the red carpet, including Lights, who talked about her new album and her go-to place for inspiration; Karl Wolf, who chatted about being Canadian; the empowering Lilly Singh, who talked girl power and revealed her favorite Canadian artists and many more. Check out my pink carpet interviews above and don't miss the photo gallery below! ~Marriska Fernandes
