Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, may be an up-and-coming actress in Hollywood, but it looks like she isn't exactly a household name yet. She found that out the hard way while arriving early on the set for her latest project.
The 19-year-old was confused for a homeless person, and asked to leave immediately by a crew member when she appeared on set. Paris took to Twitter to detail the incident, tweeting: "One of the first people on set, sitting in the parking lot and this dude comes up to me and says homeless people aren't allowed in this area."
Sharing a photo of what exactly she was wearing, she continued, "I said I'm waiting for hair and makeup, should I wait somewhere else? Also why do you assume I'm homeless?"
The actress is currently getting ready for her debut on the big screen, appearing in her first film which will be a dark comedy. The untitled movie is being helmed by Nash Edgerton, the brother of actor Joel Edgerton who will also make an appearance in the upcoming project. The movie will also co-star David Oyelowo, Amanda Seyfried and Charlize Theron among others.
Although she may not be relatively well-known yet, Paris' star is certainly on the rise. In addition to her new movie role, she recently signed a contract with American fashion giant Calvin Klein, which is reportedly worth seven figures. ~Brenden Zerihun
