SAG Awards 2020 nominations are here! Published By Marriska Fernandes on Dec 11, 2019

After the Golden Globe nominations were announced earlier this week, the Screen Actors Guild Award nominations soon followed, surprising many with their snubs.

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman and Jay Roach’s Bombshell took the leads on the film front, while The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel led the pack among TV shows. Click here to read our interview with the cast.

Robert De Niro was snubbed by the SAGs, after being omitted from the Golden Globes' best actor nominations as well. He will, however, be celebrated with a Life Achievement Award at the SAGs. Both his co-stars Joe Pesci and Al Pacino received individual nods, and The Irishman ensemble also landed a nod for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

The critically-acclaimed Parasite became the second foreign language film ever to score an ensemble nomination, 21 years after Life is Beautiful.

Marriage Story was recognized in the Female and Male Actor in a Leading Role categories for Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver while Bombshell earned noms for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture, as well as Female Actor in a Leading Role for Charlize Theron and Female Actor in a Supporting Role for both Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie.

On the television side, Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Crown and Stranger Things are going head-to-head for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Click here to watch our Game of Thrones cast interviews.

The 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 19 at 8pm ET. See the entire nomination list below! ~Marriska Fernandes

My favorite Christmas Carol is Last Christmas by Wham. It has a catchy tune but it also made a lot of sense when people's emotions are running high and during Christmas there is so much love and truth. My opinion anyways.

Rocking Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee (1958). It is such a cherry song and has a catching tune. Just love this song. It is a classic!

#Tribute. In answer to your question about our favorite Holiday song, it is "Santa Baby" and I do not know who the artist is but she is female and has a very bluesy voice. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
