Friday, April 6, 02:32:24 PM

It was a beautiful interpretation of the book, an updated version. Inspiring movie about encouraging young people (young girls) to love yourself and respect your mind. Encouraging girls to be the hero’s of their own story. Encouraging girls to go into science and math and makin it cool. Loved it!

BADDDDD Movie, besides the trailer which always shows the best parts if any, go online to check it out

Friday, April 6, 06:14:41 AM

This movie inspired me & was very relevant to life. It encouraged sacrificial love that is brave & heroic, as well as forgiveness in a creative colorful way.

Thursday, April 5, 08:54:21 PM

This was the worst movie I have ever seen. Several times, I bust out laughing out loud because I expected the cameras to come out and announce that the whole thing was a joke. The dialogue was terrible and the actors delivered the lame lines with the passion of fourth graders in a school play. Oprah Winfrey was bizarre and Reese Witherspoon should never be taken seriously as an actress again. I was so excited to see it because I loved the book ~ but I almost feel that there should be a class action lawsuit to require a refund to everyone who went to see this bilge.

Thursday, April 5, 03:37:32 PM

Awful, just awful. Bad acting (girl), incoherent storyline, a soundtrack that constantly tells you what emotion your should be feeling (the usual for Disney). Don't waste your time and money.

Thursday, April 5, 12:54:17 PM

This movie was a true waste of my money and my time. Boring and whack as crap.

Thursday, April 5, 11:50:51 AM

A good film version of one of my favorite books from childhood. Not unexpectedly, some of the characters did not match my mental pictures of them, but I got over the incongruity.

Thursday, April 5, 06:25:33 AM

After the initial dazzling special effects the movie breaks down into one long empty platitude.

Wednesday, April 4, 08:22:49 PM

Finally a good movie with good morals. Very rare to find this these days.

Wednesday, April 4, 09:19:15 AM

Relax, people. Enter into the spirit of this movie. Enjoy! Don't grow up!!

Wednesday, April 4, 12:56:16 AM

Fatally flawed from beginning to end.

Tuesday, April 3, 07:26:30 PM

My favorite book in middle school. I’m so happy this film was made!

Monday, April 2, 11:52:06 PM

The movie lacked direction which made it difficult for the younger people to follow.

Monday, April 2, 11:24:32 PM

For those that managed to stay awake, yawning was unavoidable.

Monday, April 2, 10:08:49 PM

MY kids really enjoyed the movie and that's all that matters!

Monday, April 2, 07:49:34 PM

An inadequate attempt to do the book justice.

Monday, April 2, 09:26:37 AM

I love this movie. Show you the real brain wash of the society.

Sunday, April 1, 11:40:35 AM

I would give it a -5 if I could, who ever told Oprah she could act...5 minutes on line was all I could handle...8>)

Sunday, April 1, 08:41:13 AM

The strongest point of this movie is the costume design which indicates how dismal it is, though it beats Black Panther which may take the award in this category anyways due to affirmative action.

I had low expectations after reading the reviews, but I genuinely really loved this film. Perhaps I am biased because it was one of my very favorite books as a child, but I feel it is a timely, accessible message (acknowledgeing our faults and still being deserving of love) for adults and children alike, and that the message was well portrayed. There were some elements of the book lacking, but that's to be expected because it's a different media. I felt it was visually stunning, and I love how sincere and intimate the relationships were on screen. It was also very thought-provoking and prompted good conversation after the movie. I don't understand why the reviews are consistently low unless it's because noone likes a film written by, directed by, and with almost all of the main characters women and girls. Oh...maybe that's the problem. So, if that fact doesn't faze you, I highly recommend this film.

Thursday, March 29, 04:40:32 PM

I loved the book as a child. This is an insult to the source material.

Thursday, March 29, 03:32:34 PM

This movie had so much potential: a great director, talented cast and a magical book as the base. Unfortunately the movie was absolutely horrible. It's as if all of the effort went into developing the CGI and they forgot that they needed to tell a story. Very disappointed.

Thursday, March 29, 11:22:55 AM

Very different. It kept my interest the whole time.

Tuesday, March 27, 09:01:06 PM

A Wrinkle In Time is both muddled and banal.

Tuesday, March 27, 08:47:33 PM

Not as good as the book but what movie ever is. We enjoyed the visuals and the story was very good even though it left out a significant plot vignette of Aunt Beast. People just have no patience for complex stories and concepts these days.

Tuesday, March 27, 06:40:37 PM

Makes a show of imparting some great wisdom and leaves one with little.

Tuesday, March 27, 06:14:20 PM

A Wrinkle In Time leaves kids confused so is not recommended. Peter Rabbit and Paddington 2 are far better done, even for an adult.

Tuesday, March 27, 05:36:27 PM

Beautiful adaptation of an amazing classic. Madeleine L"Engle was way ahead of her time and the movie does not disappoint.

Monday, March 26, 10:28:11 PM

Various scenes touted themselves as being magical but with little plot development they simply appeared dull rather than enlightening.

Monday, March 26, 08:52:35 PM

This movie lacks focus bouncing around from place to place rather clumsily.

Monday, March 26, 06:28:36 PM

The disloyalty to the source material contributed to why A Wrinkle In Time was unable to succeed in bringing this wonderful story to the big screen.

Monday, March 26, 12:45:31 PM

I am surprised to see this got such low marks...really surprised. I did not read the book but understood the premise, it's a known book. Thought they did a fabulous job of playing it out on screen with the effects. Biggest thing was the moral message though..trying to find yourself, discover who you really are even when you have other people telling you otherwise, finding courage. Oprah, Reese, Mindy did great jobs as these ethereal beings helping them out. If you are seeking out a message about being who you are meant to be and being courageous, you'll love this movie.

Monday, March 26, 12:41:36 PM

I liked it. Despite all the bad reviews. Creative and different.

Monday, March 26, 07:19:23 AM

A big budget disappointment.

Monday, March 26, 06:52:01 AM

Much promised; nothing delivered.

Monday, March 26, 05:17:43 AM

Poorly acted with a plot that lacked continuity. A one star movie indeed.

Sunday, March 25, 10:48:34 PM

Sad to see a treasure of a book reduced to this....

Sunday, March 25, 07:00:16 PM

A movie that failed to live up its expectations.

Sunday, March 25, 03:07:10 PM

Took my 10-year-old granddaughter she had not read the book but knew about it and we both thoroughly enjoyed the movie 😊
