A Wrinkle in Time

Classic example of how you take a good book and twist it into tedious themes that were not part of the book. Don't waste your money.

Beautiful teaching lesson for everyone.

Slow,boring and poorly adapted screen play.

Went in with no expectations, was still disappointed. Slow, no real point, unsatisfying ending. The best part was the hair and make up of the actresses and some of the scenery and visuals.

This movie is amazing. Great Directing and an amazing soundtrack. All the actors were amazing and fulfilled what the author of the book intended. You should see this movie in theatres because it creates a realism. Loved It!

Good reboot. Slow movie but with a message to everyone.

Way overdirected and overheated. The kid was cute but the rest of the cast was annoying including Orca.

A movie with some heavyweight actresses.

I imagine Oprah paid for this movie. The moral was good, the pace was so slow, I went to see if another movie that was better. There wasn't but they were faster paced than this one. The costumes were modeled after Alice in wonderland. the special effects were modeled after Avatar and all the special effects were a fragment of harry potter, and the like. etc. and the technology was modeled after Lucy. Stay home and read a book. Save your money for lunch.

One of my all-time favorite books and authors: Madeleine L’Engle. If you haven’t read the book, you’ll miss the deeper meaning - but that’s on you. Great movie for any age. Look beyond the surface.

After marching into the super-plex I became nauseous following the herd of distended, bulbous tummies into the over-ample, Oprah Winfrey-sized-Seats packed with McDonald’s-Super-Sized Imperialist buttocks. There I beheld an extraordinary adventure all full of itself in its rush to portray inclusiveness. The little munchkin that insisted we see this felt the power, and thus promptly fell asleep leaving the rest of us wondering if we should join her. The movie lacked continuity but was thankfully under two hours.

A wonderful movie Oprah for president yes please!! So enchanting I was enthralled see this movie it is a gem!!

Stupid stupid stupid don't see this don't waste your money this is a stupid movie.

My kids hated it. I hated it and I normally like everything. Terrible waste. Why??? Disney.... why??? Are producers smoking pot?

I loved the premise but hated the movie. Stupid, contrived, awful. How or why the studio published this is beyond me. Evidence Oprah is not fit to be president. She ought to stick to talk show host and blame men for everything.

What a waste, my two grandkids were bored to tears.. Oh well I should have checked the reviews... First time they said we ought to leave before it was over... Disney really blew it...

Whelp...that’s 109 minutes of my life I’ll NEVER get back. UGH.

Insanely BORING, total waste of money

HORRIBLE!!!! I know that writers, directors & producers take creative licensing all the time when adapting book to movie, but this was horrendous. They went from a children's book to using a 100 THOUSAND dollar worth of Disney's money to prop Oprah up in a politically, racially & feminist fueled film, DISGUISED, as a children's movie. Which was the intent of the director, Ava DuVernay, in the first place. It is DISGUSTING using a family movie in this manner. I am all for diversity & building up your fellow (wo)man. I'm sorry, this movie completely missed the mark on ever being worthwhile.

Bombastic, overblown. Zero subtlety. A film that punches you in the face. It insists upon itself! Good Sia song in it, though.

Quite badly done. I'm achieved my goal every time I've engaged the troll. Would have loved to have seen his face on each of those three times.

Terrible movie. Attempt to hype Oprah has failed...

What a poor rendition of the book. The two star rating reflects where it belongs.

Great movie for the family my kid loved it. Acting a bit over the top but kids don't get that. My son loved the story and is still talking about it this morning

Got way too goopy and sugary sweet at the end. I Was Cringing.

I expected this to be a lot better. Huge disappointment. Too muc h happening and ludicrous. Never read the book and definitely don't plan to now.

Read the book as a kid. Wsn't very good but the movie can't do it justice.

Saw this movie Friday evening... A beautiful movie with an inspirational message. The kid in my adult body was very full of awe and wonderment. A very unique special disney movie.

Movie was good but not for 5 stars. No political issues in this movie. This a classic horror movie. Disturbing. Oprah was great. Always she will be.

Not much to say other than was charged with political and social justice nonsense. Oprah was only good in Color Purple that should have been her last...

We went to the premier. The movie was not crowed because mostly they were going to see the Black Panther that is also a great movie. Anyways this movie had some lower points and good points. I still liked the whole story. My son loved. Well he is 17 years old and he had a good time. No time to fall sleep during this movie.

So boring and hard to follow. I fell asleep.
