Better Man

Actually saw this at TIFF first. I can’t believe the negativity it has got online criticizing the film’s creative choices by people who haven’t even seen it. Love it or dislike it - see it before judging. At minimum, the risks the filmmakers take here should be commended - not criticized. Seriously, do we need yet Marvel movie?? If things keep going this way- that’s all we’ll end up with. Adults - check your preconceptions at the door and take a chance; this one was made for you! It’s a gift - who care how much the budget was - it wasn’t your money ;)))

I've been going to see one or two movies every week on Tuesdays and I've been doing that for over a decade. (excluding during covid) I can honestly tell you that this movie Better Man is one of the greatest movies I've seen in a long long time!! You are depriving and punishing yourself if you don't go and see this masterpiece!! It is an honest to goodness diamond 💎 of a show!!

Horrible movie, I left the theater about an hour into it. Just a lot of nonsense, I do not like musicals but this was lame.

So good. I didn't expect much but I was blown away by this movie. Entertaining and suprisingly emotional. Still thinking about it!

I don't know why people aren't going to see this. It is really mind blowing.

Incredible movie. Whether you love him or you don't know who he is, it's a fantastic movie. I have to see it again!

Movie of the year! Give all the Oscars

I didn't know a thing about Robbie Williams , I saw the film last night , it haunted me all day until I googled Robbie and learned there is a British Robbie and He played the entire Monkey part in this film , I feel so dumb but now it makes great sense . I could see the development and downfall and problems Robbie the monkey portrayed But I left baffled thinking there was sone symbolism that my high school English teacher would want to explore Don't study it too hard but just know it's about the real Brit Robbie Williams , that I knew nothing about

Portraying yourself as a monkey is novel. This would have been a very common tale if it was just a guy doing it. The monkey was a stroke of genius!

The monkey can sing. I would probably be one of the raving girls if I could 🤣

I love RW and hope more Americans will too! This biopic is not just a musical. It is about the rise and fall of one of the World's biggest pop stars, Robbie Williams. He started with Take That. Many Americans might remember the song "Back for Good"? He parted ways with the boy band and perhaps his most famous and beloved single is "Angels". Go. Youll understand the choice to be portrayed as a monkey once you get to know RW. :??

The CGI monkey might come off weird at first but it works in the movie’s favour. It’s the best musical I’ve seen in a while and it’s crazy emotional too, Give this movie a chance.

There is an interview clip the is called “Why the Monkey” with the star and director. The director repeats that question and then answers it. My confusion is? Isn’t it an Ape? Not the same thing? That’s like calling a whale a fish. Or is it a monkey? I don’t think I noticed a tail.
