A brilliant example of how to make a horror film truly terrifying through storytelling and strong writing. This film masterfully reveals its narrative through dialogue and subtle visual clues, allowing the viewer to piece together what’s happening or what might be. Every line of dialogue and every character action serves as a carefully placed breadcrumb, leading to a deeply satisfying conclusion that ties up all loose ends with precision and purpose.
This is the best psychological horror thriller I've ever seen — a true masterpiece. It's not your typical, predictable horror film. It deserves Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor (Jonah Wren Phillips) as the boy and Best Actress (Sally Hawkins), respectively.
Besides blood and gore - there's nothing more to this
Real horror fans will love this. It is really good.
A good, disturbing movie. Not for Blum house fans
Great acting and nothing else. Movie made no sense and was stupid, Not scary - just bloody.
Very disturbing movie!!
Really very good. Scary. Not for teens though.
A haunting yet depressing film. It’s the scariest horror movie I’ve seen in a while, elevated by how anxiety inducing scenes are and the directing. It’s one of the best films of the year by far.
Weird, weird, weird. So weird, did not enjoy
