Is this a movie or a PC game cutscene? The main actress has anti-charisma. Whose idea it was to cast her?

Lousy movie with a lame superhero played by an extremely unlikable actress. Plus it's boring.

I love the movie. I love the portrait of a strong woman that could be reserved and confident. This is a role model. She is not trying to satisfy any conceptions from men, she is representing a self confident woman. Deal with that world. Marvel Women are here to slay.

Lame. Larson is such a cold fish. She is perpetually dry. She should get together with Jessica Chastain and whip themselves into a frenzy over who's the biggest victim.

Annoying, unlikable main character who is sooo oppressed by patriarchy she´s actually a military pilot! Let this sink in. The cat is the best thing in the whole movie, even if it breaks the canon (Fury´s eye) for no reason. Brie´s "stunts" she did herself are on the level of "stunts" little children do on the playground.

Empty story that seems absolutely forced. It's a slapstick action film masquerading as a legit comic entry. Marvel tried a bit too hard to check all of the boxes for a classic popcorn film here in a rush to introduce a new character which still has potential. The film, however, was as bad as it gets with only the most loyal of fans finding any enjoyment.

Nothing new here. Flashy but empty visuals. Story was uninspired. Protagonist was a ****. Lame attempts at humour. Give this one a miss.

Brie Larson did a good job on captain marvel. the movie is good and carol is a good piolet and great super hero

Not really sure why this movie even got made, while most Marvel movies seem to link, this ones a broken link, worth a watch if your bored, other than that.

How can a superhero movie be boring? Cast a lightweight, opinionated woman with little skill and make the movie preachy. Easy peasy. Skip this one. If you thought Green Lantern was bad, or that the Fantastic Four was bad, then this one is up[ for the Raspberry award.

YES, 5 STARS FOR ACTION & MORE ACTION A GOOD PLOT. THIS WAS MY 2ND MOVIE & I LIKED IT. THE 1ST MOVIE, I SLEPT RIGHT THROUGH, THE ENTIRE MIDDLE OF THE MOVIE. FOLKS, THIS WAS ONE VERY, COMPLICATED & CHALLENGING MOVIE. THE ROLE OF THIS SUPERHERO WOMAN, WITH MEMORY & HEAD DAMAGES, WAS NOT EASY. IT DEFINITELY, REMINDED ME OF, THE SAME PROBLEMS, IN ACTUAL MILITARY COMBAT & SUFFERING FROM REAL HEAD INJURIES. THE DIRECTOR REALLY DID, KEEP US ON OUR TOES, AS WE WERE TRYING TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE PLOT & THEME OF THIS MOVIE. IT TURNS OUT, THE GOOD GUYS WERE NOT GOOD GUYS, BUT, WERE REALLY THE BAD GUYS.!! This movie is lacking the heart and soul that the other marvel movies show. It's basically captain marvel posing the whole time.... just no heart and the cheesiest of all the super hero movies.

Captain marvel is one of the best marvel movies

This was an excellent prequel to the MCU movies. Bringing Captain Marvel into the marvel mix was the perfect choice to go up against Thanos.

I thought it was awesome, and yes I have a brain unlike the DB's who gave this film 1 or 2 stars... Don't like the actress and that's an issue for you, don't go see it... The real fans will go see it!

The 5 star reviews on here are a joke. Go to any review site on the internet and you'll see this movie was terrible. Plot holes throughout, the lead actress can't act to save her life, no character arc, continuity issues from scene to scene. It was a complete mess from start to finish. You aren't fooling anyone troll.

Meh, it was pretty bad, it picked up whenever the lead actress left the screen.

Wasn't as good as any of the Avengers movies. Don't see why she had to have such an important part in Endgame.When I was watching it., I didn't get as excited.

It just wasn't as good as any of the other Marvel movies, and doesn't seem fair to throw her into Endgame. Why was she in Infinity War? I think the real Avengers should have been able to handle Thanos.

I love the story telling. How she learns about herself and the world of people who support her. And the visuals. Fabulous.

Amazing movie, a total recommended watch!

Excellent story, well acted (don't pay attention to the reviewers who hate her politics) and answered a lot of questions about Fury.

This movie was the power trip that I've been waiting for since I was a kid. Female super hero movies are very FEW and far between and honestly this one is the best one. The action was on point and I felt a surge of Joy seeing Brie Larson Punch bad guys. Captain Marvel Felt like a Female character from Dragon Ball Z. Charging up to saving the day A lot of things said to her character. I also notice people hating the movie for the sake of hating it. If they saw the movie they gave it the money for it to succeed so I find it funny because most of the 1 star reviews are rather weak and it says something about what they may be truly upset about. See the movie for yourself and be your own judge. It's been a long time coming and I can't wait for the sequel.

Brie Larson, is very miscast in this role.

Pretty average, save your self a few bucks and rent it from redbox. No need to see it before Endgame.

Awesome lead actor great script

Fantastic and fun movie. I've seen only a handful of the Marvel movies so far, but this (and Endgame) have inspired me to see the rest. Great work by Samuel Jackson (of course), and I thought Brie Larson was perfect casting! I even came back to see it again just a week after the first time.
