This might have had some impact if they hadn't cast pathetic loser Mark Ruffalo. He is horrible and weak! How does such a loser wimp like this have a career at all?

Tuesday, February 18, 11:19:16 PM

Given that the cast of characters are all flaming ignorant progressives, liberals, and socialists, I can't expect any thing from this supporating POS.

Excellent movie!!

excellent

Every person who cares what the Big Boys are doing without our knowledge needs to WAKE UP. This is a true depiction of what is going on behind our backs... And I think DuPont is still using this poison, even on our winter coats for rain proofing!!!

Thursday, December 19, 10:10:24 PM

Fantastic movie about a huge chemical company polluting the water, land, and people in West Virginia . One man made all the difference in uncovering this disaster. Should be a must see for all

Tuesday, December 17, 10:39:50 PM

Whoa. Rob Billot is my hero. A must see.

Tuesday, December 17, 10:15:20 PM

Superb acting Great uncle worked at dupont for years. So many of them died of cancer very young Yes hard to believe Dupont is still getting away with this!

Tuesday, December 17, 05:20:32 PM

predictable

Sunday, December 15, 02:50:26 PM

This is an eye opening true story of Dupont's duplicity. Hard to imagine they are still getting away with poinsening all of us...

Saturday, December 14, 09:54:11 PM

Dupont should be closed down for what they did nobody should get away with that . They knew exactly what they were doin to us. Great movie 9 out 10

Thursday, December 12, 10:46:26 AM

This movie is so important in these times of corporation having the same rights of people...... Yet another corporation that knew they were doing harm and letting the almighty dollar run them.

Tuesday, December 10, 02:16:57 PM

Important movie in the mode of other true stories like Erin Brokovich and Spotlight. But moves very slow. We see this over and over. Institutions always look out for themselves first over the public they serve. Sad.

Tuesday, December 10, 01:17:21 PM

Acting was powerful, an educational story how a lawyer dedicated so many years of his life for a cause. We now drink bottled water and careful with what cookware we use. I recommend seeing this movie.

Tuesday, December 10, 10:43:09 AM

The story is one we all should learn that our water has PFOA... A carcinogen causing cancer. The acting is spot on...I recommend all adults watch it and rethink your cookware.. Vote for legislatures that will hold poisonous corporations accountable.

Well done but terribly disturbing since it’s true and i lived near chemical companies. Can relate to the scenario on several levels.

Saturday, December 7, 11:35:40 PM

Amazing acting and fascinating true story

Saturday, December 7, 08:51:47 PM

Riveting! Well done and great acting.

Saturday, December 7, 07:17:19 PM

Mark Ruffalo always knocks it out of the park. His acting was great throughout and he really made you believe how serious this issue was for many people in a small town of Oregon. A lot of this movie was fact based and that made it even better!

Saturday, December 7, 02:16:06 PM

Loved the truth and acting. Hurts to know this still goes on and people just refuse to see It!

'Dark Waters' is a passion-project produced by and starring Mark Ruffalo (you know, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner when he's not green and Hulking). The film is a harrowing lesson in perseverance and the perils of lonely virtue, an introduction to a true-life public health catastrophe that's continuing as I type, definitely not a feel-good, non-stick Teflon piece for happy holidays. See it if you dare; ignore it at your peril. A shoutout to 3M, which actually first synthesized Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA - C8), the unregulated fluorocarbon compound dissolved in 'Dark Waters' and now found in Antarctic ice and 99 percent of the human bodies now alive on earth (this means you and me, Herbie!). 3M then announced their research findings and stopped producing and promoting their carcinogenic brainchild - the opposite decision to that taken by DuPont, as 'Dark Waters' documents. Not pretty; thought-provoking; makes me want to reprise 'Frozen II' or maybe 'The Martian.'

A little slow moving but an excellent movie. A tough situation for a community that depends on industry for their jobs. That's as much as I will say, go see it.

Saturday, December 7, 10:49:56 AM

Riveting drama based on a true story and has local impact (PFOA) for many, many people. Mark Ruffalo deserves an academy award. Five stars!!!

Fascinating, gripping, true modern disaster story of Dupont being sued by the people for cancer agents in drinking water, and chemical in teflon, shocking statistics and information we all need to hear. Brilliant acting. We need to see more modern day stories like this, that we are all affected by.

Friday, December 6, 07:50:45 PM

Incredible movie that everyone should see. Our lives are more bombarded with chemicals than ever before.
