Excellent movie, Oscar worthy all around, directing and acting.

Awesome movie, especially on Remembrance Day. 2:25 min flew by. Lots of action and based on true story. Truly amazing a must see.

It was a well done movie I would go again.

A great reminder of what our country's men sacrificed during wars fighting for our freedom. These men paid the ultimate price. The story of this man's convictions and trust in God was inspiring. The negative: very graphic and bloody, but a reality.

Really enjoyed this movie! Such bravery.

good movie.. just the wrong actors in it

Best movie I've seen in a long long time, a little slow in beginning but it sets the scene for what follows, which is an unbelievable act of bravery. So good, I would pay money to see it again tomorrow -highly recommend.

Excellent movie. Great acting and great script. It is true to the horrors of war. The inhumanity of the human experience when hatred is the only thing that matters. Even in that horrible environment faith in a higher power was possible

Movie reminds of Hamburger Hill Blood Gore and Girt.....A must see..

To the guy below; of course there's a lot of killing, it's a movie about a war and of course it's heavy on the religious aspect because that's the whole point of the conflict and the movie. The move was balanced and well done. Excellent acting and I hope a lot of awards come their way.

It was a good movie. It kept your attention but I think it did not have to be so graphic with blood and guts for such a long time. About 1/2 the movie. It just got a little much after awhile.

I have watched hundreds of movies. All kinds of movies. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Of course it's violent "it's a WAR MOVIE"! Of course it's a tad bit religious, it's WHY HE WAS A C.O. his belief in GOD. Special effects were awesome, the best I've ever seen! ! 5 stars.

A lot of killing and ugly special effects. The story was O.K. but a tad heavy on the religious angle.

Amazing movie!

Great movie, very powerful and moving. Didn't know Vincent Vaughn was in it, a pleasant surprise and nice to see him in a more serious role, shows his range. Highly recommend just be prepared for the battle scenes if you're squeamish.

Accurate and intense portrayal of war juxta positioned with the faith of one true man in the midst of the violence. Reminded me of the extreme sacrifices made by our parents and grandparents who fought, but more importantly renewed my faith in God. Brilliant will win awards.

Excellent story, excellent direction by Mel Gibson. Deserves an oscar nomination for best movie, best actor and best director.

If this movie doesn't get any academy awards I will truly be shocked and I love the fact the movie used a lot of extras rather than relying solely on CGI; a lot of the the same principals as Braveheart.

Incredible story! Needed to be told! The worst military advisor ever: Haircuts? - wrong - no haircuts. Uniforms? - wrong - shabby, unironed; rank insignia - tarnished, fingerprints, totally inaccurate. An insult to the American military who performed these incredible feats. Mel Gibson has been in enough American military movies and should be able to afford an American military advisor. Disappointed in him for not caring to get it right.
