Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1

This has to be the worst harry potter movie to date. It was sooooo boring. It missed all the magic and action that makes harry potter movies so fun to watch.

i liked this just did not care for few in the movie that were killed off i am real big harry potter fan .

The movie was good. Not a whole lot happened with the main characters. They just mostly spent their time sitting in a tent, just doing whatever to avoid capture from Lord Voldemort. Whilst trying to figure out where to find the other horcreauxs? and destory them. Plus Draco Malfoy and his father Lucius Malfoy didn't have a lot to say nor do in the movie as wekk. But I certainly enjoyed the little dance number between Harry and Hermione. Hopefully the second half of the motion picture franchise will have more to offer to us, then what the first half did. B/c after all, we've only just seen the first half of what is sure and soon to be a major huge battle.

Fantastic lead in to what will be the best Harry Potter Movie of all time, Part 2!

This movie was the best by far, even though it had some slow parts. Fanfreakingtastic.

As far as a comparison of books to movies go, this has been the best movie so far. Even the fact that they have split it up into two films for the last book gives it so much more room to fit everything in. The last movies, especially later ones, have been missing crucial build-ups in the story-line, which are now difficult to fix, but I believe they did the best that they could in The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, other movies considered. We won't know if they've done a REALLY amazing job until Part 2 comes out, but I was definitely pleased with Part 1.

i found the movie was very long but it was ok

A little dissapointing in that it seems like the best is yet to come (hopefully) and this was a very long way to set up the climax. I hope it does not dissapoint like the matrix finale...

I really really loved this one. The storyline is brilliant, the actors are amazing and the effects are pretty sweet too! I think with each HP movie, they just keep getting better! I feel I've grown with the movies, characters and cast! I can not wait for the last one, but I will be very sad to see it all end.

The movie kept to the book very well, though I won't recommand it to anyon under 12, it has some very scary scenes.

I understand this is a very dark movie...but the fact that is was so dark....visually....was frustrating for me...didn't see alot of detail or imagery that was found in the other ones...

They stayed much closer to the story than they have in other movies. Very well produced and great effects. It would have been even better if they had stuck to doing it in 3D.

The Harry Potter juggernaut does not disappoint. The latest chapter of HP in his quest to defeat Lord Voldemort shows the darkest of times when the witching society cannot trust its members save only those who have formed diamond friendships. This feature film captures the fear, uncertainty and uneasy times when dictators take control of benevolent societies. The war of philosophies, that of good vs evil gives us clues as to how we make our choices in our lives whether or not to take a stand to stop undemocratic processes in our society.

was a good preliminary lead up to the finale but seemed to drag. Enjoyable but could have been paired to be shorter without any loss of quality

I loved this movie, it stuck to the character of the other HP movies before it. It was captivating.
