Hearts In Atlantis

Didn’t read the book, so apparently that helps appreciating the movie. Great yet cryptic story line, excellent performances by Anthony Hopkins and Anton Yelchin as the two protagonists, along with Bobby‘s girlfriend Carol. The great chemistry between the main actors adds to the magic. Overall well done.

Wow, what a movie - absolutely don’t get the negative reviews. I came across it just based on the writer and the cast. It’s Stephen King and Anthony Hopkins, so it’s creepy. It’s a story about bonding and understanding, and misunderstanding of people who only can see what they want to see. Great performance also by Anton Yelchin as Bobby (RIP, kiddo!). It doesn’t fully resolve, but definitely a worthy watch.

The book is definately much better! the movie barely scratches the sufrace of the book. Though the movie was good. I enjoyed it, i found it very superficial in comparison with the actual novel. Which was a bit of a let down. Next thing i hope they make is the Talisman! im in the middle of that book and its amazing.

Vaguely interesting storyline but overall it was kind of dull.

I enjoyed it.But the only thing lacking in it is the fact that it only tells part of the full story. The book has much more in it. I m wondering if the movie is successful will they make it part of a triolgy. What happens to the other two kids when they grow up. I d like to see it continue.
