Paid $25 to watch this on Shaw on Demand on the day this film opened. Today $4.25 in the cheap theatre - what a difference! Run don't walk to see it in the theatre as it's totally worth the extra effort. Abuela Claudia (Olga Merediz) stole the show with "Paciencia y Fe" followed closely by Sonny's cameo in "96,000." What a wonderful musical!

This is the third time I've seen this! Saw the play, I think in LA? Not sure? This is so much better than the play and I love plays! If someone asks me I'd go again! See something different at all times! So uplifting! You walk out feel'in good!

Lin-Manuel Miranda hits it out of the park!

If you want to feel happy go see this! I was moderately interested in this movie initially. I was so surprised at how good it was. Go see it you feel motivated to dream and do!

An upbeat movie with a large heart. What we need now.

A visual feast. An exuberant cast that just doesn't quit. Shortest 2 hours 23 minutes I've ever experienced. See it on the biggest screen you can.

The best singing, dancing, choreography and story telling going to touch your spirit and lift you up. Give Thanks, don't miss this great piece of entertainment. On Broadway it would cost over $100 a ticket for just a matinee.

I absolutely LOVED this movie! Going again to enjoy it on the big screen!!

I went to see this movie on Saturday and did not know what to expect. What I got for my money, the best singing, dancing and acting that I've seen since Rent. The Heights is Washington Heights in uptown Manhattan. I was actually there when my bus (number 4) was taking us to the Cloisters. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!

Outstanding, uplifting and shows the heart of so many, the dreams and struggles while reminding the viewer nothing is in vain - God's got you, Patiencia and Fe - Gloria a Dios! 168! The Broadway show is glorious, has expanded storyline as well. See both, Dios te bendiga!

The movie has a very thin story. Left after one hour.

Absolutely great! What an awesome way to bring Broadway to Main Street America. Loved it! This was the first time I was in a movie theater -- and only 7 people were there in the afternoon. This is one to see on the big screen everyone. And it will help bring your soul back to life after the stress we've all experienced in the last year.

Love love loved it! So full of joy and the dancing is so great! The story is a little bit different than the original musical, but the updated version is also masterpiece.

i did not watch this movie. when prior vice presdient pence went to see hamilton and paid alot of money for such, lin miranda confronted him at the end of the musical. since to me this was disrespectful, i choose not to watch anything by linn miranda, thanks

OMG! Loved this film, covers a lot of subjects and I can really appreciate the choreography, a lot of work for this gem. I laughed, cried and wanted to get up and dance. THANK YOU.

Movie is no disappointment, but the opposite, great music and dancing. The story will give you an inside look how life is a struggle, yet dreams can come true, my favorite line is Patience and Faith. Ignore the negative reviews this movie will surpass the rest.

Seeing Lin Manuel Miranda perform in this movie was so fantastic and special. His show Hamilton on Broadway is so good, yet this film may just top it. A must see for all who have a dream.

Just like a Broadway musical only better. Great story, dancing and music. All about dreams and reality of everyday life. I loved it and now want to visit New York.

a good movie to sleep thru

Fast moving, easy to keep up and follow the story. I wanted to get up and dance in the Isles. Kept my foot tapping and full of energy. Lin Manuel Miranda has done it again, another success after HAMILTON. So much talent in this film it is AWESOME.

WOW! SO UPLIFTING, WELL DONE MUSICAL AND LOVED THAT "LIN MANUEL MIRANDA" IS IN THE MOVIE SINGING. STORY ABOUT A CLOSE COMMUNITY ALL LIKE FAMILY AND REALITY OF LIFE STRUGGLES. DANCING AND SINGING IS THE BEST. CAN'T WAINT TO SEE IT AGAIN. A MUST SEE FILM.
