One of the best movies I have had the pleasure of watching. I would love to own a copy of this movie. It draws you in, and the peace I felt alone in the wilderness, the isolation, the beauty of the forest and living in that beautiful home would be so soothing for me. I wish I wish I wish!

This movie is good for 20 and under with little or no brain power required. Thin plot, thin writing, basic acting, not impressive, terrible ending...REALLY????? 5 stars?????, that is a joke. If I could give a half star I would have.

This film really drew me in. I loved it. I quickly felt a connection with the characters, and that stayed with me throughout the entire film. Great work ladies!

Great cinematography and production design and a handful of memorable songs make this a must-see! Old pros Streep and Depp are the icing on the cake.

I LOVED this movie!! I cried and laughed and screamed one time. The cinematography by Halifax native Daniel Grant is incredible. Well done! Two halifax stars are in this beautiful film by Patricia Rozema!!!
