Really really bad.

Very disappointing. A waste of money.

Terrible. The movie was good initially, but everything just turned ridiculous.

I think it was a great movie. Definitely out of the box thinking. Don't forget that this movie was directed by Luc Bessoon so it's not for everyone. IT's not your standard Hollywood movie

Lucy gives us a glimpse of the truth I loved this movie. Most people will find it hard to believe, but what you see in this movie, is enlightening to our true potential The movie is brilliant. Go see it.

was disappointed 2 great actors not a great movie.If I enjoyed lectures I would go to them.I like entertainment and did not think this movie was.

Such great actors and their performance, but technically zip story...boring.

Saw Limitless, not the same, yet equally awesome, trailed off at the very end, no problem, best movie ever.

Easy to see this is Scarlett's best movie ever.

Thanks RICHMOND HILL S.C. I LOVE MORGAN FREEMAN, my husband loves Scarlett, both were spectacular. Action was intense up until the last 10 minutes. While Scientists have proved that Evolution according to Darwins Theory is a whimsical fairy theory it was amusing since most men act like apes, lol.

It was very good. Violent, but the visual effects were great.

Seemed to have potential in first half. Second half was just strange...not in a good way.

First 1/2 hour showed promise, then it jumped the shark

I figured this would be a great movie. Morgan Freeman was at his best, like always, SJ was at the level I expect of her. Too bad the writers/producers didn't use at least 8% of their brain when putting it all together. Honestly disappointed. But the Actors make it to 3 stars but the film, hit rock bottom level

This is a silly premise and an idiotic movie. I don't go to movies of find the meaning of life, so don't give me all this phoney science and a stupid answer. I am appalled that some people saw any meaning or got any enjoyment out of this turd.

I anticipated that Lucy would be similar to the movie Limitless. There are some similarities as both movies are based on increased brain activity induced by drugs. However my intrepreation is that Lucy is more science fiction as well as spiritual. The science fiction characterist of the movie is when the character Lucy is transformed at the end of the movie. What I found most interesting and stimuulating about this movie is that using your mind you are able to envision the future that you desire and thereby being able to work through difficulties in life in order to achieve your goals.

People who gave a low rating probably Cannot comprehend the capability of ones true self....drugs are a plenty at this person house maybe they can invite the cave man too watch this movie on netflick .....please with the comment capability of ones true has nothing to do with how badly the movie was made enough said

Waste of time, completely stupid.

Saw Lucy yesterday with my wife and we both loved it! Some people seem upset that it shows a different opinion from the religious right. Highly entertaining from start to finish!

Don't waste your time going to this movie....boring and just stupid I was disappointed with the actors as well

This is a very cerebral movie, some great action along with a good message. The movie could have been put together much better than what we were left to watch.

New favourite movie! Highly recommended to watch.

After reading some of the other reviews I wasn't expecting the movie to be as good as it is. I thought it was very exciting and thought provoking. Definitely a must see.

I enjoy the deeper messages this conveys. But i doubt our minds would go the way this movie sees it. love morgan freeman. I see it going much more the way Limitless protrayed it.

Good acting as you would expect. But did not hold my interest for entire movie.. Too bad it had promise

I go to a movie mostly to be entertained, not to necessarily get into great esoteric discussions. This movie started out quite interesting and did hold my interest through at least 3/4's of the movie. But then it really began to lose it and get truly wierd and preachy. I don't need or want to get into some theoretical show on evolution. That being said, Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman were great, as always.

I thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life, however after watching this movie I don't know what I want out of life anymore. Only thing I know for certain is I want my money back and all the time I lost watching this.

Illogical, superficial, atheist - typical Hollywood

To short but if you are not on the journey of self discovery you might not get the message. It is trying to convet. Good story.

A thriller movie from beginning to end, a must see if you haven't watched it yet.

If you are looking for a superficial Marvel-Comics action romp, you will be disappointed. Even the blurb posted for the movie is misleading. So are the trailers. While Lucy plays out as a tightly-paced thriller along with some uber-violance, it is more of a deeper contemplation on human evolution that poses--if you take the time to listen to the discourse--deeper questions on our human journey (women, particularly) as explored through human intellect, compassion, and what it means to exist in our "limited" human bodies; ultimately, whenever something is gained, something is usually lost. Brava, Lucy (both of you!)

Visually, very good; the rest, not so much.

If you like science fiction movies you will love this movie! Fast paced from start to finish. Awesome! Finally... not a hollywood fluff movie like all the rest.
