Mark of the Devil (1970)

Advertised as "The first film rated 'V' for violence" - an effective gimmick by distributor Hallmark - this is an entertaining and gruesome ripoff of Michael Reeves' superior film WITCHFINDER GENERAL. These two tortuous tales would make an interesting double feature.
