I'm 20 and I work in a movie theater. I get to clean up after the theater lets out. No one goes to this movie, and I've seen it six times myself, and I can't tell you what it's about. Boring collection of dysfunctional people.

Disappointing ..

Such a reach, confusing unless you've heard the deeper premise, even if you have it doesnt really come through properly. Basically makes no sense. I can tell the story of Muhammed with the characters from lamb chops play along but it doesn't mean that's a thing or makes sense...

This was a horrible movie, I'm very suspicious of the 5 star ratings that some give it and question their validity. Follow the majority of the reviews and save your money. It's amazing all the hype that preceded its release, pure propaganda for profit, nothing more.

Anyone who's rated this movie more than one star obviously doesn't get out much . B A D!

Bad, terrible, horrible, awful, ridiculous, I think that just about covers it; no wait, disgusting and ridiculous, now I'm done.

Everything is connected..that's what I took home with me after seeing this masterpiece of a "movie". It doesn't even deserve to be called that. Please, if you are a fan of requiem for a dream, and Pi, you need to go see this piece of art. It will open you up to yourself.

There is so much I want to say, but I JUST saw the movie about 30 mins ago, and I'm still in such an intense state of mind. What an incredible production. Every actor who had a part in this film did a brilliant job. Jennifer Lawrence, my god...how does she do it. I feel reborn. An amazing creation. Godly.

There is no rating low enough for this movie! You know when people say that a movie was a waste of money? I would've paid NOT to see this movie!!! A hemorrhoid would've been more enjoyable! ??. It was painful to watch, the only reason we stayed till the end is because we were hoping for some resolution. It was terrible, awful, horrible, stupid, disgusting, ridiculous, unbelievable, and a piece of trash; I can't believe they got anyone to act in this movie, much less the stars of the caliber that were actually in it . Stay away! Far, far away from this piece of gatbage.

Interesting movie , very deep,although maybe too deep to get a grasp on whats going on . It's like an attack on your thought processes . Just when you think you have it figured out ,it goes in another direction . Maybe a few more viewings and I might say ." okay now I get it " .

Yes bizzare but thought provoking as it was meant to be and therefore I liked it. It is not for people that do not like to think. And Jennifer Lawrence is an excellent actor. Those who cannot see that are blind or jealous on some level.

I rate this movie a 1, I was very disappointed in the whole movie and I'm a Jennifer Lawrence fan but this movie didnt even make sense. As I came out of the theather other's were saying the same thing. Big waste of money. Wish I had left and asked for a refund.

best plot, acting, movie i've seen in a looooooooong time

This was the most terrible movie I've ever seen--and I watch two or three every week at the cinema. Lacked plot and the acting was more like what you'd find at a second-tier acting school. Do not reward this stinker by buying a ticket.

I walked out on this embarrassing disaster after 20 minutes and got my money back. If you leave before you've sat through a ½ hour of an awful movie you can ask the theater for your money back. Remember that and do it. Jennifer Lawrence is an overrated hack and not THAT good looking. She was dropped into America's lap by Hollywood several years ago and we were all told she was the next big thing and how incredibly sexy she was. I never bought into any of the manufactured hype around her, and no, she didn't deserve that Oscar. The Academy Awards is a leftist circle jerk that hands out baubles to actors that have the correct political views. This movie was terrible, do not see it.

WTF what more can i say...

My time would have been better spent mowing my yard. Didn't have a plot, made no sense and I actually paid money to see this.

I like Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Pfiffer and I like Javier Bardem and Ed Harris, but even these fantastic four cannot save this mighty stinker. No sense, no plot, no point, just a waste of time and money. I will add this to the list of worst movies I have ever seen. If Jennifer Lawrence continues to make movies such as this, her promising career will soon be over!

I "got" the movie. It was a Left Wing Progressive's wet dream of a propagandizing movie hell bent on shaming everyone there for "raping" Mother Earth and destroying the "house" she has provided for us. Complete with faux war scenes, over population in the "house" and everyone running rampant over Mother. The killing of her baby and eating it as a negative "communion" was over the edge. This movie was written by some SICK people and I now understand why Lawrence went on the recent twitter campaign that she did. She must have been half nuts after making this movie. I was half nuts just watching it! LOL

Terrible Movie. Stupid with absolutely no plot/story. Wanted to leave after the first 10 minutes! People running around wrecking a house and screaming is not acting. Waste of money and time.

speechless! First half of the movie with Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer was entertaining and was expecting a twist, then the movie completely went off the rails. One of the worst movies of all time.

Lots of poor ratings and I wanted to see what was so bad. Surprisingly, it kept my interest all day he way thru. Yes it was one of those movies that leaves you in the end to draw your own conclusions. It's not a feel good movie for sure, somewhat disturbing. Jennifer Lawrence's role was a demanding role for sure and I found her reactions quite believable.

Nothing less than 1, too bad. This beats all of the worst movies I have ever seen. There must be a storyline but I don't know what it is. Walked out towards the end it is just that bad. Don't know how these stars lent their time to this they must need the money. Don't waste yours.

Simply stupid movie, with a dragging storyline and no excitement whatsoever. It was disturbing and a huge waste of my time. Good for some people, but a terrible one for me.

Don't go. Don't buy the DVD or VHS. Wait for the paperback and then use it to light your fireplace. You'll thank me later.

If they were smart, they would charge people money to get out of this theater. Then it would make money. Good lord, what trash. If you read, the other reviews on other sites, in papers, and the internet, you know, I'm just another voice in that choir. Don't waste your money. It's not even cultish trash. There's Ed Wood bad, and then there's bad bad. This is when we pine for the old silver nitrate days and an accidental fire.
