I watched the new Mulan, rewatched the original, and then watched the new one again... the hype is real. It's not perfect and the criticism that Mulan is now a bit of a 'Mary Sue' has some merit, but just sit back and enjoy the beautiful imagery and music. It's the first live action remake to dare to be different from the original and it works. Thank you Disney - keep it up!

Solid entertainment filled with action, emotion, and beautiful cinematography. Niki Carro did a wonderful job directing this film!
