Wish the Gay part would have been disclosed in disciption of the movie. Too much foul language.

Very enjoyable.

It’s wonderful to see a story set in Canada for a change, but that’s not what makes this film great. What seems like a simple coming of age story turns into a meditation on life and love. The performances feel authentic and the comedy is easy and unforced. And because the storytelling is unpretentious, the twist (and there is a twist) is more impactful. The only thing that could have been better would be the cinematography, which doesn’t quite do justice to the beautiful locations or the emotions of the storytelling.
