Extraordinary performance by Sean Patrick Flanery. A low budget movie with great acting and screenplay. It deserves Oscars!

Been awhile since a great movie has been out. Worth the watch. The irony was that the 'demon' was the only honest one in it (except the part where he explains the reason for the fall). And yeah, Mormons follow a false god.

Great acting. The movie hits some hot topics that most "critics" dislike, therefore the bad reviews from them. We see here again that critics reviews no longer matter.

Was a good movie, not the greatest movie ever. I gave it five stars, because it was good to see a quality produced movie deal with the reality of good and evil and not come at it from an anti religion viewpoint. Funny how all these one star reviewers love horror movies but when a movie confronts them with the real evils in the world, that are embedded in our society, they are quick to knock it. Makes the point of the movie. Better to justify the evils that are committed everyday, than deal with the real spiritual issues surrounding them. Bottom line, if you don't have an open mind, don't see it; again, that makes the point the movie.

What a great message. People need to watch this movie and the main character (prisoner) deserves an award

Wow! Any movie worse than Sound of Freedom has to be realllllly bad! And this was it!

This movie is a complete waste of time. The acting, special effects, direction, score, and story are all b movie at best. The fact that there are people that think this is a story about what is really going with god and the devil is really just sad. Please take yourself to watch something really good like Cocaine Bear.

Excellent movie in terms of content, acting, script.... Surprisingly entertaining and brain busting. If you think you are a detractor you must watch it.

I saw this on the television the other night and must say this was not very good at all! Poorly conceived ideas are the least of this movie's problems!!!

This was pretty C-Level movie making at it's best.

I live in Burnaby BC Canada and we didn't have the honor to have it in our theatres so I drove to Washington State ... once to Bellingham ....It was so good I drove to Yakima and saw it two more times .... As a devout practicing Catholic, I know first hand the battle is real and this movie isn't perfect but very very close ... it was excellent ... #grattitude

The movie was Biblical and gives people a real sense of spiritual warfare. My only disappointment was at the ending, when they portrayed Glenn Beck as being born again. Glenn is a wonderful, moral, and has great insight. But Mormons are not born again.

My mom watched this and she is a conspiracy theorist so she asked me to watch it. There were a couple okay moments but overall I think Popes Exorcist was a better movie.

If this was on Tubi, maybe it would have been worth a laugh!

There was not much to like here. It was too farfetched, poor performances, bad effects, silly writing...maybe good for a drinks with friends kinda thing.

Refreshing to finally see a movie worth the money PAID. I loved this movie and the way the producers incorporated sound theology into it. Held my attention from the beginning to the end. Hope it stays around for a couple more months. I'd love to go see it again at the end of June.

Flanery should get an oscar for this performance! Incredible! Great script. Finally something real and worth the time to watch.

Awesome thinker movie. You will leave with a new point of view!

This is a well-written film about the spiritual warfare that is ongoing in human hearts. This is one of those movies, like Schindler's List, that everyone should see at least once. It was incredibly thought-provoking. After the movie, my friend and I couldn't just get up, leave the theater, and resume life as usual. There was just so much presented in the movie to mentally process. Another viewer in the theater stopped us to talk about it. It had truly affected her as well.

A must see for every believer, agnostic and atheist. WOW!

Excellent acting and exciting script. If you are looking for a real thriller, look no further. This psychological thriller pulls you in and when it gets so scary that you try to tell yourself it isn't real, you realize it is.

A must see for everyone, especially those who have any doubts about the Truth! The dialogue exchange will electrify you! Please see this movie and tell everyone about it!

Acting is superb. Script was engaging and so well written that you forget that most of the movie takes place in one place, a prison visitation cell. If you believe that evil is random and impersonal, you won't hold to that opinion by the time this movie ends.

The psychological twisting in this movie is riveting. 90% of the movie is the conversation between the psychologist & inmate. Though hard to believe the dialogue and delivery were superb and kept interest all the way through. Sean Patrick Flannery should receive an Oscar nomination at least for his performance.

The acting in this movie is brilliant--absolutely brilliant--most especially for Edward/Nefarious, the prisoner character. The movie is unique because of the very limited cast and setting: pretty much one setting and the vast majority of the movie just two actors. Literary allusions are brilliant as well, which I suspect a lot of people miss because they don't know their Bibles well enough and because some of them are exactly inverted, as they would be from a demonic perspective. Stay to the end of the credits...they left an opening for another movie, and the Latin at the end would seem to indicate another is coming.

Thought provoking psychological thriller. If you’re afraid of the challenge to what you think and believe, just stay home.

Awesome film, unlike any I've ever seen!

I think like only two people went to see this movie in theaters, so it must not be very good. I would rather watch Jersey Girl over and over.
