Riveting, kept me engaged throughout until the end. Sean Patrick Flanery and Jordan Belfi are perfection.

My husband and I I saw this movie on Thursday afternoon the first showing we could find. I anxiously awaited the release, and my expectations were more than met. The acting was tremendous and the content was so thought provoking! I’ll be taking my son and his fiancé tomorrow. I hope they will recommend it to their friends, I have been... I can’t wait to see it again.

This movie is the real deal. You won’t see this type of movie very often. It uses the genre to tell an unexpected story. It’s up to the viewer to accept it or hide from THE Truth. See for yourself. Are you ready to open your eyes and stay asleep and pretend?

I`m going to watch it again, but hopefully in the early afternoon so my pulse won`t still be racing by bedtime...

This is a movie Hollywood would never deliver because they're sleeping with The Enemy. But here, Steve Deace and company deliver a story Satan doesn't want you to see. Spiritual warfare is real, and you'll leave the theatre pondering a very sobering warning.

A must see and re-watch. So much content to unpack. It confronts the viewer and their worldview, prompting introspection and conversation. So many emotional, social and spiritual issues are addressed, and your sensibilities are challenged. I found myself asking questions internally, "Have I been complacent? Where have I compromised or justified something out of 'convenience?'" That all said, it is riveting wire to wire just to watch Sean Patrick Flanery chew up the scenery. You have to have a generous acting partner and he had that in Jordan Belfi, who provided the perfect amount of tension. It leaves you ready for the next story.

My family has been waiting so long to see this movie and I'm so grateful for Steve Deace and his teams vision. This movie does a great job representing a depraved ungrateful world that is unfortunately forgetting that there is good and evil. For such a faith based plot it is amazing to me that GOD is not mentioned once nor any “savior” style preaching which makes the script different from many other films. Amazing acting isn't even the word, if this were not a faith based movie the lead could be up for an academy award. I read the book a nefarious plot a few years ago and couldn't think of how this movie could be a prequel and was amazed at how the writers adapted it. Great movie, great acting, GOD bless!

The best movie of 2023. A mix of 12 Angry Men, The Green Mile, and Silence of the Lambs. Not a gore-fest just a great psychological, suspense, thriller that will have you jumping in your seat.

Phenomenal movie! Acting is stellar. Thought-provoking and suspenseful to the very end. Had me at the edge of my seat, holding my breath.

Best movie I've seen in a long, long time. My wife and I saw it last night, loved it, stayed up talking about it til 2:30 AM and just bought tickets to see it again tonight. Incredibly well-done film.

This movie is based on the book ‘A Nefarious Plot’ by Blaze TV host Steve Deace, which was written after the likeness of ‘The Screwtape Letters’, the C.S. Lewis classic, yet based in modern-day America. Read the book. This movie kicks the balls of our fallen society. And it hurts. Mostly dialogue, the script doesn’t shy away from revealing the gory ignorance largely ignored by most. People need to watch this; like a 12-gauge in a fistfight, Nefarious contrasts to the weak, woke, and watered-down movies Hollywood has come to produce. With a powerful message and captivating story, this is a movie I’m going to go see again. And buy it on DVD when it comes out. Sean Patrick Flanery performed some of the best acting I’ve seen. Jordan Belfi was no slacker either. Sean conveyed precisely the pleasure demons take in tormenting, and the stark opposition to anything that pleases God. The people who complain that there is too much ‘preaching’ in this movie have already fallen into the trap. To quote the movie, “There is a war between good and evil, and wether you believe or not, we all participate.” Choose your side.

The writing, directing, acting, story and message wrap up an excellent movie. Keeps you engaged, loved it!

Actors were very convincing. Message was well presented.

I normally don't go to the movies unless it's something special. This was one of those times. The character of Sean Patrick Flannery as demon was believable, snarky and creepy. You definitely get the picture of what evil is and the battle rages continues to rage on.

The movie doesn't have superhero, cgi, guns a blazing Hollywood cheese. Just a strong well written storyline, and great acting. Sean Patrick Flannery blew my mind with how real his character was. We need more movies like this!

Very underrated movie! Fantastic movie! Draws you in and keeps you wondering what's next. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this powerful movie. The acting is exceptional. I can’t wait to see it again. This movie is very intriguing and draws you in to the movie like very few movies can and makes you think. You realize there are forces working to derail us into thinking things happen by accident. I can’t wait to read the book this movie is based upon. Life is so much more complicated than we can believe or imagine. Evil is real and we should not ignore that fact.

Sean Patrick Flanery gave an absolutely amazing performance!

Must see movie!! Sean Patrick Flanery deserves an award for his performance. It has a very good message and leaves the viewer to contemplate their beliefs.

An absolute stellar performance by Flanery. He was so into his character and so believable there were moments he had me in tears. I felt so bad for her character at times and glad he was on death row at the same time. My son is reserved on commenting on actors. My son said Flanery absolutely carried that movie with precision. Indeed he did. The movie is not preachy in my view. It just literally tells things as it is and has it's happened and why. For the Christian component it makes the point clear Satan hates mankind and God loves mankind. There is an underlying point being made about temptation all the way towards the near end and it's done very very well.

Intense and edge of seat thought provoking. Loved that it wasn’t a raunchy, tacky horror movie.

This movie was just pretty silly. It’s all very made up like Santa and the Easter Bunny but that’s okay I guesss as delusional is the order of the day.

An outstanding performance by Sean Patrick Flanery as he switches his character between a very tortured desperate man and a demon. He absolutely should receive an award for this movie. You will find yourself feeling an array of emotions as you relate this film to your own life and experiences. Extremely thought provoking and will have you thinking about it for days! Hands down one of the best movies I've seen and can't wait to see it again!

Nefarious is easily one of the best films I've ever seen. The dialog between two people in one room is smart, witty, serious, and quite disturbing. This movie will make you think and think some more about good vs evil and how it applies to today's culture. It is well written and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Sean Patrick Flannery gives an Oscar worthy performance as Nefarious! He gives Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lector an easy run for his money. Jordan Belfi is fantastic as well. He is easily relatable in his cynicism of Nefarious. Getting this mivie out of my head is impossible. I will be watching this again and buying a digital copy!

Riveting from the beginning! No bad language, no fight scenes, nothing blown up. No CGI, but the thought provoking dialog and intensity of the acting will keep you hanging on every word spoken. I saw it Thursday night, and am going back tonight. Best movie I've seen in a decade!

An amazing message and just incredible acting. A wondeful mesage don’t miss this movie.

I would say it was more of a psychological thriller rather than a horror film. However, the dialog in the script was better than Pulp Fiction and the acting was phenomenal. The actor who played Nefarious (Edward) did as good of a job as Heath Ledger playing the Joker.

Terrifying! Stays with you and you’ll immediately want to see it again. And it is a movie you watch, now just go see. Flannery’s performance is stirring, grabs you by the throat. Belfi is the perfect pairing. The R rating is the only thing that sucks.

A captivating performance by Flanery. The dialogue punches you right in the throat and smashes shibboleths. Every human 13+ should watch this movie.
