5 STARS if you're a 12 year old boy. This is King Kong--Beauty and the beast. George the Gorilla is the beast. The Rock is beauty in this oddball love story. Not the Rock's best effort. His acting is better on rasslin.' I didn't expect much, and it was less than that......guru bob

People who say the rock is overrated need to go watch emoji movie
He reminds me of King Kong and Mighty Joe Young. They're beautiful creatures especially George with the excitement scenes.
It was rushed, they needed to spend more time. Not sure how much of a budget they used by comparison to Kong. E for effort. Maybe opening night it might do well but overall The potential is lacking and very lazy. More of a Netflix TV As for Dwayne Johnson I agree, he's An over rated actor, but I give him credit He's trying and he wants to learn.
