This was one of the best movies of the year. Exceptional, but not for the faint of heart.

A modern classic. Must be seen in IMAX. An important, smart, and searing view of colonizing in the arts. It must be seen.

The BASS was up too much, which explains not understanding some of the dialog, as commented by some including me. Also, The volume could have been reduced a little. This was in theater 10; maybe only theater 10? The first hour was so-so; then it got interesting. Can't say it's a must-see, to each his own; go at your own risk. The "Honest Movie Reviewer".rh

It's not a horror movie or a thriller movie it's a boring movie so boring that I walked out of it.

Im a Mega Trump voter n white. I enjoyed the movie i know slavery was real n black people were treated horrible. So for who ever wrote that now u are being racist Just enjoy the movie n eat ur popcorn

The people who think this movie is racist or boring lack the intellectual prowess to comprehend this movie. It is sad that we still live in a time when historical images of real racism still threaten people. Exposing the evils of white supremacy is not racist. However, trying to suppress the real history of African Americans' historical experience is.

A lot of uncomfortable and shameful American history (which still exist today) wrapped in this story.

My only complaint was the sound quality. There were many scenes where I could not understand the dialog.

Zero star based on the trailer. I wouldn't watch this movie.

Great movie, good story, acting done well.

Whoever made this movie and insulted people by calling it a horror movie ought to be run out of the Industry. Shame on them - what a disgusting piece of filth and to call this entertaining is beyond words. It's horrid, revolting , disgusting and stupid.

White people will say it’s boring, overrated or racist. These are the people who voted Trump into office to ban black history and create laws to stop cops from taking a WHAT??? ACCOUNTABILITY!!

Racist garbage which poorly ripps off much better movies created by whites only to whine how evil white vampires are stealing/sucking black culture. The cognitive dissonance can´t be bigger. It´s a malicious propaganda designed to spread hatred. If the roles were raceswapped that hypothetical movie could never be made.

I had a very hard time understanding any of the conversations in the movie. Consequently I had no idea what was going on. I left early knowing I wouldn't be missing much.

This movie just made me so excited for filmmaking and storytelling again. Took its time, but kept a good pace. The music is phenomenal and the cinematography is glorious. Can't wait to see it a 2nd time!

The twins thing was interesting.. Found it funny, scary and pretty accurate. Loved the visuals and the length of the movie was just right

Absolutely beautiful film

I cannot believe I paid to see this most stupid and ignorant of all the movies I've ever seen. Left 30 minutes before ti was over - I could sand no more non-sense. THe gore was laughable - like Halloween costumes and the oral sex scene uncalled for.
