I loved the Dukes and Smokey and the Bandit, and I loved this movie. It's a great nod to my youth, and can't wait for Poker Run to come out.
Funny
Sometimes you just have to take a break from the real world and have some fun. I really enjoyed Stand On It. Fun, laughs and nostalgia all rolled into one. You will smile and laugh while watching. Go ahead I dare you. It is contagious.
Awesome movie for today's time. Not a remake because lines in the show gave kudos to original
Awful. Low budget is not an excuse for terrible acting, goofy camera work, bad direction and plagiarism. Avoid at all costs if you respect Smokey and the Bandit.
Fun, fast paced and some really good car stunts!
Yes the movie was low budget but the passion and love of the subject was evident i the final film. the fact that lines were used from the original movie is a loving homage to the original and for those that dont know John Schneider was actually in the original movie as an extra in background. this is a fun movie!
I’m embarrassed for everyone involved in this. I guess simply changing the title and character names from a classic movie means you’re creative? Sad. Everyone involved in this should be ashamed.
A wonderful and respectful ‘re-make’ of the original movie with all kinds of side humor thrown in, a true gem for true Smokey and the Bandit aficionados who will ‘get’ the banter - and an extra bonus if you were a Dukes fan too (like I was) - Mr Schneider I give you a lot of credit for pulling this off and enjoyed this movie - thank you!
While I loved the idea of a tribute to Smokey and love John, this movie was horrible. I was embarrassed I paid for it. Acting and stunts were cheesy. I threw it away.
This movie, as in anything with John Schneider is phenomenal. I’ve loved him since childhood and he is an amazing actor. You won’t be disappointed.
It’s about time someone made a fun visit back to the time when films like this were king at the box office. The humor, stunts and relationships were very reminiscent of Dukes and those great Burt Reynolds movies of the 70’s. Loved it! More please!!!
Loved it! A tribute to a great movie.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! I was a fan of the Smokey and the Bandit films and I feel that John Schnieder, Alicia, and his whole team did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the original. The camera work was unique. As I watched it, I thought how cool to come up with shots the way they did, for a small studio, to achieve the same attitude that the bigger Hollywood studio did. I think Burt would be proud of the work John Schnieder and his John Schnieder Studio did.
This movie was great. They delivered exactly what they said they would. I enjoyed it very much. Great job Alicia, John and crew! Elise W. UPOM
Great movie go watch it.
I loved the movie. It bought back fond memories when I was younger. I can't wait until the second movie comes out. Hopefully with covid 19 soon behind us, I want to attend Bo's extravaganza. Yeah hawwww.
It is a fun tribute to a classic. Although low budget it was fun to watch and a great movie to watch with the family. If you grew up with the Dukes and smoky you will love the move.
It’s a lower budget car movie and I’m ok with that. No superhero’s.
Great movie.
An absolute fantastic film, I would highly recommend!! A great tribute film, very well done John!

After watching Stand On It, I was completely disgusted by this atrocity of a movie and had me thinking about one question. “How is this movie a tribute?! It’s a cheap remake!” The majority of the scenes and dialogue are lifted directly from the original “Smokey and the Bandit” movie, thus making it a remake, not a tribute. If this was an all original story with a few nods to the original, I would be fine with it, but what I saw was nothing but a cheap, cash-grab, remake of the original that claims to be a tribute with terrible acting, camera work and a rip-off of the orifinal. If you are a fan of Smokey and the Bandit, I strongly recommend avoiding Stand On It and go watch the original movie, along with Parts 2, 3 and the 1994 TV movies. They are way better and worth with what you are paying for.
Great movie for the budget! I love the Dukes of Hazzard, and Smokey and the Bandit. Would love to see something with both John, and Tom Wopat together.
Everything sucks about this movie. Wish there was a negative star rating
