way too much use of the "f" bomb for really no reason. walked out after tolerating a half hour. don't waste your money on this one.

hilarious!! very good movie when your high!!!

it's not as bad as other say. it was both funny fun and sad 'n' happy. definitely childish even if not meant for kids. there were a few odd themes that the older gen folks (older parents) definitely can identify (or identify with) that the younger gen (not yet parents) would be clueless on unless their parents were into it.

very funny movie, my gf and i loved it. it is not a kids movie that is for sure!

this movie was very well done. for those of you who find the need to post comments trying to insult viewers who are rating this movie 5 stars: keep your views to your self because people don't give a rats @$$. this is an area to rate movies and give honest opinions for people that are interested in viewing them. not for you to be cowardly hiding behind a computer screen posting you dumb mundane comments.

35 year old men who behave like children, i know a few of those. dumb people (?) genuinlly need to laugh no matter how many brain cells or lack of- it is human nature to laugh, fart, snort, get boogers perhaps and i think i'd shoot myself if i were unwilling to laugh or at least crack a grin at idiocy every once in while.

the guy that posted this has no friends: it goes to show the rapid degeneration of our species has reached a point of complete idiocy. you people giving this movie 5 stars have just been robbed of $10. there were some (some) relatively (that's relatively) funny parts - but overall it was cheap humor relying far too much on the type of comedic scripting that definitely makes dumb people laugh. i deplore all you dumb people because now i am forced to watch semi-funny comedies. how many people rating 5 stars have read more than 10 books during their mundane existence on this rock? 2 stars and coincidentally iq of 2 is required to laugh your ass off the whole time.

for your information, i went to walmart to get the royal tenenbaums dvd and they didn't have it.

best comedy movie 2012!

lots of hype surrounding this movie and now i know why. mark w. is not a comic and does not get in touch with his character. he should give the money back he got paid for this movie. mila k is great as always but should have insisted on a better script. ted had all the classic and funny lines and they were done well. this is not a children's movie so don't take your kids.
