The Battle at Lake Changjin

Pure mix of communism narrative with fractured history about the event.

Essentially this is another All Quiet on the Western Front anti-war movie. The battle of the Chosin Reservoir as told by the Communist Chinese - The Battle at Lake Changjin was just a highly sanitized battle flick not showing captured wounded being tortured to death, or Chinese infiltrating American lines by climbing into foxholes at night with knives to kill sleeping American soldiers - or Turkish soldiers returning the favor to the Chinese or Chinese soldiers raping Korean village women or any Korean soldiers involved in the fighting against U.N. troops. None of the atrocities which actually occurred the Korean War was shown in this propaganda piece. Yet it did show the American military in a fair light, and the Chinese were critical about their own tactics. The battle scenes in the snow were the best done so far. I would recommend going to see this movie.
