it was a great movie, long but you dont really notice. i dont think it was as good as the dark knight, i like the joker as a bad guy a lot better, he made things interesting and keeps you at the edge of your seat but still a very good film and worth watching.

I was going to give it 5 stars but decided not to because of the reference to --> the batman <-- it sounds so phony to hear it said that way. a reviewer said he liked the references to the past movies. well, in the past movies there were never anyone calling batman --> the batman..... even in the movie itself occasionally someone would call him just batman and nothing else!! i loved the movie! the action scenes were phenomenal! i'm glad the franchise of "the" batman is over. i won't be going to the other ones, when they make another batman movie, unless they call it the way it was originally ---> batman!
