Horrible ending...

Lacklustre plot, acting, effects and remake. This film leaves both a lot of questions unanswered and a lot to be desired. Even a week later I am still not completely sure what the message of this film is meant to be, nor the reason they would remake such a phenomenal, timely film in such a poor fashion.

Wait for the DVD or better yet watch the original. It's way better.

Why knock Keanu's role? He was meant to be unemotional - that was the role people! So either way you must admit either he did a superb job (for his role) or the casting was right on (for the role). Aside from that, the movie represents a concept decades old. It is a remake of what sci-fi was all about back when. Relax, movie goers. I found it entertaining for what it was and was meant to be. If you want car chases, bodies beat to a pulp...this is not the movie for you. I liked it a lot!

I'd heard a lot of hype about this movie, so I was astonished to find myself searching for superlatives worthy of this remarkable updating of the Hollywood chestnut.

The acting was original, though the special effects was amazing. Best movie I've ever seen in a long time. I should've waited for the dvd.

This was awful. What a total waste of time and money. Don't even rent the DVD. I can't believe this many people gave this 5 stars. Oh my God people, are you so easily entertained. Trust an adult; movies like this don't deserve your hard earned dollars. Just think about it, how many good movies has Keanu Reaves actually done.

Great movie and a super performance by Keanu Reeves. This movie is pretty true in concept to the original but there has to be some artistic licence otherwise this would simply have been a template of the original. All in all a very good representation of the original.

I am sick of this political correctness in movies. We do not need another "environmental "movie to scre everyboby about the end is coming. Give usa beak. Also Mr. Reeves acting is about as cheerful and lively as a corpse.

I like it when they remake old classics, because the special affects in the remake are way better! This is as good of a remake, as the War Of The Worlds was! 5 Stars!

We all have our tastes & everyone is intitled to their own opinion, so there's no need to bad mouth anyone for their review! I liked it a lot. I thought that it wouldn't be that good, but it was. Keanu was perfect for this role, because there wasn't too many lines for him! lol

I thought that this was a great version of the origional film. A must see...and it does say a lot about us "humans".

"better than all the matrix movies combined" - How could you say something like that. The first matrix movie was ground breaking in the majority of aspects of a movie. This is another dime a dozen movie. It was good I enjoyed it. But that statement someone said persuaded me to respond

I found this movie's storyline pretty boring. almost fall asleep for it. But the movie's graphic is good, which I give this movie a 4 stars rating!

Not a good movie att all. Movies should be judged by their entertainment value or acting or story line. This movie had none of the above. You would figure Keanu perfect for this role ( cause he can only act one emotion anyway - dumb perplexity ). Save yourself the $10 and go rent the original, way better story and acting. I seriously don't understand anyone giving this movie a good rating, but then again there are plenty of people that think McDonalds is gormet food.

Good concept - bad portrayl .... at the end we were left with the thought of "thats it?" wouldn't pay to see it - probably wouldn't even rent it

What a crime! Studios are cashing in on remakes but unfortuneately they don't care about the end product. This one is one of the worst examples of profiteering.
