I wouldn't say it's the best of the best, but it was something new. Plus, I really like Jennifer Connelly, especially after Requiem For A Dream. Take a peak. If you don't like the story, at least enjoy the effects. 3 Stars.

I watched the original twice in the past week.It is a better movie by far.The new film is mediocre at best and though the "eco" message is important,there is surprisingly very little tension or excitement.I did like the new GORT until he turned into a horde of locusts.Wait for the DVD.

It should be titled “The Day the Movie Theatre Stood Still”. Stupid story line, badly written, feebly acted, propaganda ridden and politically driven crap fest with product placements at every turn. I’m surprised Al Gore didn’t make a cameo. Pure garbage and to think I help fund it with my 10 dollars and 90minutes of my life. I want a refund.

I loved this movie! It was interesting from the get go. Keanu was an amazing actor, as always and played Klatuu very well. The blank look he gave people was well done. The storyline well as the directing was excellent. The only character I didn't like was Will Smith's son. He was not needed in the movie. But overall it was fantasic and everyone should see it.

Where is the exit!!! I was waiting for someone to pull the fire alarm so that I would have to endure the pain of the movie.

There should be a "0 Star" Rating. This film would definately qualify. One of the worst and most boring I have seen in years.

No command for Keanu's acting skill but loves the excellent Morale behind the movie when Kathy Bates popped " You don't talk to UN , you talk to US"...Sarcastic.

A solid sci-fi film...thoughtful and well crafted, but probably not exciting enough for audiences in there teens.

Good...Bored sometimes. Probably better on the BIG Screen, but should have waited for the Rental.

I think it had a very good story line. Knowing the US this is tipicle of their actions. I think the whole story is very believable

I want my money and 90 minutes of my life back. Maybe they put something in my popcorn because this snorefest had me checking my watch. A few special effects can't save this Christmas turkey. Long live the orginal.

I thought this movie was awesome. It showed a great adaptation of how humans are, in general. When we panic, we act out in FEAR first, before finding out what the issue is. Wonderful morale. We can learn lots from this movie. Save the planet...!

worth your money.

Finally a movie that personifies Reeves acting talent and personality. In another word BORING. My wife starred is a minor roll in a Reeves film a long time ago I watched him and he hasn't changed a bit. It's like looking at a ESL student struggling with the concept of acting and using the English laungage. It is true that somethings don't get better with age.

3 stars. Better than average. The product placement ads were too obvious.I had trouble believing in John Cleese's character because of his long association with big and small screen comedic roles. signed......GWH
