Liked Adam Sandler as a rule, I know his movies can be on the edgy side, But, this was awful, couldn’t find the plot, couldn’t find the story...a lot of yelling, swearing and just trash..awful movie, awful movie...don't waste a penny...sorry Adam you could have done better.

Awful movie, walked out after 15 minutes and asked for a refund. If the F word wasn't used every other work we might of been able to follow the movie but it was used over and over. Don't throw your money away!

The movie was thrilling, interesting and entertaining from beginning to end. Adam Sandler's character is insane! He did am awesome job playing a neurotic fast talking gambler/jeweler. It was exciting all the was through. I stayed awake for the whole film. That is a big deal!

Terrible beyond belief

Awful movie. Walked out. This is the first movie I have ever walked out on.

Adam Sandler was made for this role. Perfect fit. Too many f bombs for sure but still a gripping if sordid tale from start to finish. You will squirm in your seat at some scenes and chuckle at others. Moves fast. It is "Good Fellows" unplugged with Jewish and Black culture shown in a very raw state. Pay attention to the unique way the film is cut and also the creative use of many types of background music. A lot of craftsmanship is in this film but not a holiday family flick. See it at your own risk !

2 hours of my life I will never get back...

I thought this movie was incredible and that the acting was some of the best I’ve seen in a long time. If anyone had any doubts about Adam Sandler as a dramatic actor, this performance will put that thought to rest. He should definitely be nominated for an Oscar. The other performances and the whole drama put the viewers right smack dab in the moment. That said, I couldn’t wait until it was over. It was so intense and quite brutal to watch that I found myself shielding my eyes at times. Be prepared and fasten your seatbelt. This isn’t a dark comedy.

Well written, ironical script; great casting of characters who delivered their lines in meaningful ways; pacing of scenes was top notch; one of the best films of the year; Adam Sandler's acting was outstanding.

Wow, what a rush. One of the best movies I've seen this year, Adam Sandler at his best, never a dull moment in this movie. Excellent minor characters.

This is one on the worst movies I've ever tried to sit through. I kept thinking the "good part" was coming, but gave up and walked out after about 90 minutes.

very intense , frenetic movie about a shady character dealing with even shadier characters . Sandler really does a great acting job , enjoyed the KG/ basketball angle as well . But it is the ending that really blew me away ...... did not see that coming ..... enjoy this shady movie!!

2 hour car crash, you couldn't turn away.

Gave it one star only because no stars was unavailable. I like Adam Sandler, but this movie sucked. Only horrible language and strife from start to when we left early. And stating it was a comedy??? Horrible! Even the background music was horrible! If we hadn’t been with friends I would have gotten up and walked out. Everyone in the theater was disgusted. Too much talking over each other. It was a waste of time

Very difficult to watch and went on too long. The main character was unlikeable, scenes and dialogue were chaotic, and I just wanted it to be over.

One of the worst movies of all time. Not a thriller in any sense of the word.

Adam Sandler should deservedly get an Oscar nomination. But we couldn't stand to watch the stream of awful choices and situations he put himself in, and there wasn't one character to like. I'm fine with foul language, but this was over the top. We walked out about 3/4 of the way through the film.

Actually 0 stars. Go no where movie. Plot very thin. Lots of yelling and F-bombs every 5th word. Movie has no redeemable value. Save your money and your mind!

Only good parts were what they put in the trailer; the rest of the 2+ hours was a noisy waste of time, and I like Adam Sandler.
