It was good but not a five star like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind .
Japanese anime might have a future but only if it can reclaim the quality we saw back in the 1980's. I wanted to give this film 4 stars but I realized that I am already so biased towards anime I didn't. A good alternative for something visually stunning and surreal is to go see Jo Jo Rabbit.

Amazing animation and amazing story, without a doubt that all this guy’s movies are great but this is on your name level great! Defiantly going to be one of the best anime movies of the year.
