It’s all there: privileged excess, religious tension, family obligations and young people grappling with their place in the world. Boring and slooooo. It just doesn't get any LESS entertaining than this!

I have really enjoyed the movie. It is anything but boring. Very smart and has a great cast.

Mesmerizing adaptation, perfect casting and lush cinematopgraphy. This film version of the Waugh novel held me spellbound with its story of love, loss, and the power the Catholic Church. Ben Wishaw as Sebastion dominates, yet all the other actors are superb in their portrayals.

L-o-n-g boring film. Emma Thompson was great, but she didn't appear 'till half way thru the movie. Really disappointing movie. In the end, who cares what it was supposed to mean. Don't waste your time or money.
