Both actors are great! It's definitely one of the best movie this year.

A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon. The script was a little predictable but well acted

Thomas Hardy novel very badly adapted to the screen. Carey Mulligan did not grasp the passion of the character at all. I kept waiting for this slow slow moving film to get going.

mulligan will be nominated as will michael sheen as will the costumes design as gnordmanwill the cinematography

Oh yes a very nice LOVE story movie. A period movie, great scenery and costumes. A little twist I did not expect part way through. I recommend it for those like me who love, love stories that end right. Will indeed buy it when it comes out on DVD. Oh yes about to go see it again.

Classic story with beautiful presentation.

Intense. Beautiful scenery and beautiful people. But Thomas Hardy.. One bad decision followed by tragedy! Good ending
