Best movie of the series so far!!! Even though it was a slow paced movie, I didn't see time go by! Can't wait for the finale now!! Daniel, Emma and Rupert have really grown as actors and they are a huge part why this film is sooo awesome!! See you in July!
I am the ultimate Harry Potter fan , and I have read all the books, seen all the movies. Although I did love the movie, I can't give it 5 stars because I think they could of shortened the middle bits a tad.I loving Harry Potter still loved it,but my husband thought it was very long to sit through.Silly Muggle!

The Kids are all grown up. Previously cradled by the comfort of their beloved Hogwart's, now on the run and without the outright protection of their elder's. The trio has finally blossomed into a much more moody and mature scenery, which at times will make you wonder if this is still a Harry Potter film? The jokes not so often and the magic not so illuminating because of the reason behind it's use. A number of people complain that director Yates has sucked out the fun and dazzle from the franchise, but where that seems a negative to those few - it's a positive for me. This half of the last installment isn't strictly about that, it's about being grown up - it's about standing on your own
Better than I even expected, the special effects were amazing.
A well made movie visually, storyline a bit slow.. Seems to be building to the 2nd half.

Great movie! Like others said a bit slow in the middle, but great action scenes in the beginning and quite a good cliff hanger ending making it hard to resist going back for part2. Overall well shot, well acted, and well written. P.S I did not read any of the books.

it was a little too slow, but I will agree that it was 1 of the better movies... there's little action and little emphasis on the other characters... they just disappear leaving only Harry, Hermione and Ron... coulda been better but twas good nonetheless
Another fantastic instalment in the Harry Potter series, and fans of the book are sure to love it!
The unfortunate part of this installment is that it is exactly like the book. Dull and slow. Having said that, the interaction between the characters is great and the visuals are as good as it gets. The little moments of levity help this thing move along. Even if it is slow. This is one of those must see movies just so you are prepared for the finale. Overall it was what I expected. Word of advice, this is not for your 8 year old.
Not enough cast involved in most of the movie. Not enough action either. The movies set at the school were much more fascinating.

Amazing special effects, I am really glad they did not do this movie in 3D as it did not need it. Really enjoyed the movie and cannot wait for the second half.

Yet another brilliant chapter in the J.K. Rowlings series. My 17 year old cried and my 7 year old went dressed as Harry Potter and aided in the spell casting. All three of us can hardly wait until July.

Excellent film, but EXTREMELY dark. Reconsider bringing young children - in the showing I saw, several groups left the theatre in tears partway through.
My fave since the prizoner of azkaban! very true to the book and focused alot on the trio and their relationships. Ron stood out especially, made me fall in love with him:) Great storytelling, cannot wait for the next!!
I'm a big HP fan so my opinion will probably be cast aside as obvious but this movie was awesome!! absolutely loved it, and that's saying something because I hated the last one and was dreading this one but Yates impressed! Only disappointing thing was that it ended.
Yeah, it was a little slow at some points but I guess maybe it was supposed to be like that to show that the travelling did actually take months if you think about it.
