Synopsis

This documentary takes a look at Brian De Palma, one of the most talented and influential filmmakers of all time. His career began in the 1960s, but really took off in the 1970s, with the box office hit Carrie. Critically acclaimed films such as Dressed to Kill, Blow Out, Scarface, The Untouchables, Carlito’s Way, and Mission: Impossible followed.

Directors Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow have a candid discussion with De Palma about not just his life and work but also his unique approach to the craft, as well as his experiences navigating the film business.
