Doctor Strange to appear in Thor: Ragnarok Published By Tribute on Jan 03, 2017

Doctor Strange set to appear in Thor: Ragnarok

Benedict Cumberbatch is set to reprise the role of Doctor Strange sooner than anticipated.

It has been confirmed by Disney's official fan club page that the Sorcerer Supreme will appear in this fall's Thor: Ragnarok alongside Thor himself (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). The website's official synopsis for the film reads, "Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new."

The 40-year-old Brit was rumored to be involved in the Marvel film after a series of set photos appeared online. The images, courtesy of director Taika Waititi, depict Chris and fellow actor Tom Hiddleston in New York. According to The Independent, Chris is featured "holding a slip of paper embossed with the address of Cumberbatch's alter ego [Stephen] Strange."

For those who've seen the highly successful Doctor Strange, this development shouldn't come as a total shock. The film's end credits show Thor interacting with Doctor Strange in the Sanctum Sanctorum, where the surgeon vows to help the Norse god locate Loki (Hiddleston).

At this point, it remains unclear how the pair plan to do that. But all will be revealed when Thor: Ragnarok tears into theaters Nov. 3, 2017.

In addition to Benedict, Chris, Tom and Mark, the third film in the Thor series will feature a stellar supporting cast including Jeff GoldblumIdris Elba and Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Anthony Hopkins.

As you stated, saw it at the end of the Dr Strange movie. Really looking forward to this next installment of the series.

They're going to try to shove them all in and as usual, it won't work. Or will it....?

People don't actually care about this, do they? Doctor Strange? Thor? Where's the appeal?!

Wallace my film fan their no appeal to this, Doctor Strange and Thor are interesting charters from marvel but they fail so bad to make it good, doctor strange was pure garbage and the thor sage was cheesy and crappy as Thor Ragnarok as seeing the trailer is a warning to stay away and specially if I did go see it I would have two hours of my life I will never get back as I would be rape and robbed at the same time
