Omg!! You people who judge this movie is crazy. What do guys expect special effects action. This movie is awesome. Movie of the year contender for the Oscar. Great movie, a feel good movie. Sly should be nominated, Michael B. Jordan is Oscar nomination.

Awesome. If you truly love Rocky and remember watching Rocky 1, then you will like it. If you like Twilight and mindless Fast & Furious movies, then not for you.

Wow! this was a very good movie. Feels like we're passing the torch the Rocky series to the new Creed series. It was quite an enjoyable movie.

None of these characters are as interesting as the originals.

Very good connection with rocky movies and it's nice to see that the movie is more about Apollo Creed and his son than Rocky !!! but still nice to see what kind of friendship rocky and apollo had by helping his son !!!

Great movie; a really nice connection to the rocky movies

Nobody cares about Adonis Creed's story -- the character is someone else's invention, not Stallone's, making this non-canon and a waste of time. Worst of all, it ruins the perfect ending ROCKY BALBOA brought to the series, and for what? A cheque with lots of numbers on it?? Sad to see Stallone's creation go out as nothing more than a supporting character in his own franchise.

There are some misconceptions in some of these reviews. It's not that Stallone "couldn't be bothered" to write this film himself. The film was the idea of writer/director Ryan Coogler, who grew up watching the Rocky movies with his father. He presented the idea to Stallone, who had some serious reservations about reprising his role as Rocky. I believe one article I read said it took Stallone a year to finally agree to the project. And yes, Stallone more of a supporting character, but the whole point was to do a story about Adonis Creed, not Rocky. It's a spin-off, not a direct Rocky sequel.

Looking forward to this film. Saw the trailer looks really good. Early reviews out already saying it's a great moving film. Always enjoy Sylvester Stallone films.

Looking forward to seeing this film. Lots of really good reviews for those who have seen it early already. And I really liked the trailer. Have grown up watching the Rocky's. This will be interesting as it delves into one of the earlier characters Apollo Creed. I'm looking forward to some good entertainment. Hard to come by these days. And I Know this kind of film always deliver. Always a pleasure to see Sylvester Stallone on screen. What a power house.

Should have called it Crud.

ROCKY BALBOA was the perfect ending. Zero stars for the completely unnecessary ROCKY VII. :(
